"Break down and buy it." 01/19/12
This could possibly be the greatest jacket ever. I work outside, and I have to have gear that can perform under hellacious conditions. It's a warm jacket, and keeps you warm in almost any weather except if you're hanging out with yetis or something. It's got a little bit of water resistance, so it will hold up in a light rain, and it's perfect for that cold misty crap. It's pretty well-fitted so I don't look like a marshmallow. The hood is some kind of space-age fit that stays up in a pretty kicking wind. It packs well, it wears well, it warms well, hell, it might even make your eggs in the morning.
