"Love this jacket!" 01/16/12
This jacket, while thin, keeps me very warm in 30 degree weather. It also looks great too b/c it's fitted. Couldn't have asked for a better new winter coat!
"slightly short and stout" 10/31/11
i have a few older north face jackets that could be a couple inches longer, a couple inches narrower, and the armholes are a little too roomy in the underarms. north face has always been a more "traditional" cut. and this jacket is definitely reminiscent of my jackets from 10 years ago. it's also not as light as a similar jacket made by marmot, which has a more modern fit. though it is cool that you can stuff the whole thing into its own pocket.

I love this coat, it's lightweight but super warm and not bulky but breathable. I'm tall, so I got the XL because I find North Face tends to run short on me (I'm 5'10") but it fits perfectly lengthwise and I can layer underneath because it's pretty roomy. LOVE this!

I bought this jacket as a liner for the Varius jacket. It works well in that capacity, as well as zipping out and serving as a flattering, great fitting jacket to run errands in. It keeps me warm, it mad stylish, and I always get compliments on it. WIN

I purchased this jacket because I am allergic to goose down and can't buy 95% of the winter jackets out there. This jacket kept me super warm in freezing NH mountain temps, dry in the snow, and has a great fit. I bought a size up so I could layer underneath, but I didn't even really need to do that, I was toasty warm with just this jacket. The sleeves are nice and long, the body has a nice shape, not too snug, not too short, and the collar doesn't pinch at your neck. LOVE this jacket!

This is a wonderful buy. Quality and durability meets chic and stylish. I love this coat. Already tried it on and matched the perfect fit for myself at The Northface Store a few weeks ago, but as always Moosejaw had better pricing on their website. I was looking for a nice, warm, jacket from my favorite brand that would not take away from my outfit if I decided to wear it with the zipper open. I live in cold, wintry MI and I often travel to PA,D.C. and IL so I need form and function out of a winter jacket. I also love to ice skate and to ski so in the event that I forget my triclimate jacket or down jacket, the Redpoint line from North Face does the trick!

this jacket is nice and light weight but keeps you really warm in the cold winter weather. I would defiantly suggest this North face jacket to anyone that needs a warm jacket for everyday activities, its wonderful, I love it!!!
