The North Face Women's Quince Hooded Jacket is a insulated layer for skiing and climbing in high mountains. The 800 fill power down allows the jacket to become incredibly lightweight, while still providing the warmth needed as a mid or outer layer. Head into the backcountry to scope out fresh powder and at less than 15 ounces, you'll hardly notice the weight it in your pack or when it's worn on your back. The zip pockets secure small items and warm hands while elastic cuffs prevent drafts from finding their way down your sleeves. Hood up, time for some cold weather adventure.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 100% worth it I bought this jacket about a month ago, and so far it has been absolutely amazing!! I live in Utah & it's been pretty cold, below freezing most mornings when I leave my house. I've worn it outside all day long in cold temperatures & the cold hasn't got through once. It was even snowing one day & it held up pretty well even when wet. I'm about 5 feet tall and weigh about 100 lbs & I bought a size small so that I could layer underneath & I think I got the perfect size for that! It's a little longer, ending right below my hips but it keeps me super warm & it's also incredibly light. I bought the teal jacket and the color is beautiful, I get compliments on it all the time. I bought this jacket because I absolutely hate being cold, & after a bunch of research I decided this would be the best buy for me, & I think I can confidently say that it was. 100% worth the money.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Really nice coat, but unpictured stretch panels... Bought this based on picture. The arms, however, are covering stretchy hip panels that are not down. I wasn't into that - your mileage may vary. Moosejaw is awesome and executed a fast and easy return. This coat needs better pics!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Warm, light, soft, packable, cool looking I wanted a versatile jacket that kept me warm when I go to school, or gym, run errands, or hiking. This jacket has kept me warm, is a great fit, and it tailored nicely to fit my body. I don't feel puffy when I wear this jacket. I like the hood and the way the cuffs feel around my wrists. My chest area is 36", and the small fit snug around that area, so I bought a medium, which felt better. I can still wear a t-shirt and fleece under it without feeling like it is snug. I get compliments on the cut and style. This is a lightweight jacket. I've also worn it under a shell to make is a waterproof insulated jacket. I've been caught in the snow wearing this, and the snow beads off, but I wouldn't wear it in the rain. It can also pack into it's own pocket, although it doesn't have a reversible zipper for that effect, you just have to work with the zipper to close it. It also fits over the hips, and doesn't let cool air in.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Happy Daughter! This jacket was on my daughter's Christmas list. Here in the Pacific Northwest, function needs to be as valued as fashion for students slogging across campus in weather that's chilly, rainy, chilly & rainy, windy and rainy...you get the idea. This North Face jacket covers all contingencies. Stuffs into a backpack and great for travel.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Jacket This is a nice light weight jacket. Not to bulky as you can't move.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not As Warm as I Was Expecting I really like the look and fit of this jacket but was expecting more warmth from a 800 fill goose down coat. A lot of areas in the coat are lacking feathers. Not a winter jacket for MN. Temps need to be above 25 for it to do the job. With that said, I am keeping the jacket due to the look and fit but will wear in warmer weather.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great jacket and good for. I washed it and it did come out a bit discolored in certain areas but it's subtle enough that I don't mind.
