"Great warmth, but bulky and short" 01/03/12

This jacket lives up to The North Face reputation in terms of warmth provided, but the style is cumbersome. If you're more style savvy as opposed to active, this jacket would work for you. However, its bulk and short waisted style has gotten to be a nuisance for me. I've found a prefer a jacket that I don't have to worry about tugging down or giving me a santa belly. Again, great warmth for Michigan winters, but stylistically not my particular bag.

"Too cropped for me!" 09/13/10

I wanted a jacket that would not cover my "assets" and indeed this one did not...but it also did not cover my navel! I am taller than average, but the next size up would have likely been too broad in the shoulders. I must say that it felt like one of the warmest jackets I've ever tried on and with another Maine winter right on my heels, I was disappointed to have to return it....but not to worry.. I've already ordered another NF jacket from Moosejaw! ;)
