"Amazing Jacket with Gore-tex" 04/16/13

I bought it for my mom. It's amazing-light, durable and comfortable. It could be used in fall, winter and spring, no matter rain or snow. My mom love the purple color very much. The price was reduced- roughly 150, a very good price for a gore-tex. The staffs at Ann Arbor store are very very nice.

"Great Gore-tex jacket, but NO PIT ZIP!!!" 03/16/13

I was looking for a gore-tex jacket with pit zip. I like to hike and run, rain or shine, +100F to -40F. I wasn't interested in a running specific running jacket with their athletic cut because I find they are not as versatile as regular cut. I thought the "secure zip hand pockets with core vents" was a fancy description for "pit zip". No, it simply means the front pocket for your hands is separated to your core by a thin mesh. I guess if you are overheating, and you unzipped the front pockets, you will get cooler and maybe also lose your car key and wallet if they were there! I returned this one for TNF Mountain Light Insulated Jacket. Hopefully this will be the jacket I was looking for!
