This insulated jacket features an innovative synthetic insulation that offers incredible warmth and comfort for day long excursions in cool conditions, and those inclement wintry days. The HyVent fabric construction of this North Face jacket is waterproof and breathable, utilizing a polyurethane coating for waterproof protection, moisture permeability and durability after years of use. The Heatseeker insulation and fully adjustable hood with lower face protection make this outwear great for enjoying days out on the mountain, adventures in wintry wilderness, or simply surviving the harsh winter months. It doesn't mean you have to volunteer to shovel your neighbor's driveway, but we're not going to stop you. That would certainly make you nicer than most everyone else I know.

    "Classic Southern Girl's Alternative to TNF's Denali!"     		          03/06/09
    When I'm not exhausting my assorted color Denali jackets, I love to wear this in black. When it's more humid/rainy and less cold, opt for the varius guide because the arm pitt zips provide for a breeze. This jacket is thin enough to not weigh you down in the rain, but thick enough to withstand some heavy wind. I've even used it during early ski season with a pumori jacket underneath. It made for a very comfortable ride on the slopes!

    "This jacket is my new favorite"     		          02/18/09
    So I just got this jacket and slap my horse and call me charlie I love it! It keeps me warm (sometimes too warm), fits perfect (I'm 5'9 and 130 lbs if that helps out at all), big hood and good length sleeves (those are a MUST) and keeps me dry in rainy Washington weather! I give this 3 thumbs up.

    When I'm outside in this freezing ass weather, I do not fear the cold. I actually believe this to be the best coat I have ever owned. Glad North Face came my way. I got this coat in black, and it is extremely stylish. Although it is in black, it is extremely girly without going in any at the hips. I am also 5'8" and this coat fits my body perfectly. I normally go from a Medium to a Large, but I must say Large was definitely the choice for me. Not loose at all.
