The Women's Greenland Jacket by The North Face is rightly named after the world's largest island that's surface is mainly covered by an ice sheet. The Greenland Jacket is and insulated jacket designed to keep its wearer dry and protected from icy, freezing conditions. This winter jacket is designed with a waterproof, breathable, seam sealed HyVent 2L exterior that sheds rain and snow, and insulated with a plush 550 fill down. This North Face jacket is super warm and wearable in frosty temps.

"Bought 2, one for my mom, one for my aunt" 09/21/11
Apparently, they both loved it. I've had a decent share of North Face outer wear products and my mom wanted to try out the brand as well. And seeing as how it gets freezing cold here in the Big Apple during the winter months, she wanted a sleek, stylish jacket to keep her warm and the Greenland jacket fit her very nicely and kept her warm with its 550 down.

Wow, seriously this jacket cant get any better, any warmer, any awesomer! I've had this jacket for 2 years now and its in perfect condition. I live in CT and the winters are so cold! Me on the other hand-- I stay warm when i'm wearing this jacket. The fur on the hood keeps the whipping cold air off of my head and face and the insulation keeps my body nice and toasty. I Love the belt it helps to keep a womanly shape to the jacket since its a bit puffy. I'm 5'2" and i wear an XS, it fits great, and I get lots of compliments!

I'm 5' 2" and ordered a small - it is very big and the belt is attached to the jacket which makes adjusting it awkward - I love the look of the jacket, but even if I ordered the XS, I just don't like how the belt buckles and is attached to the jacket.

I live in the midwest were the winters are tough. First couple of winters I had a patagonia knee length jacket, this year I bought this gem. Best winter jacket ever! Fits great, super warm, super cute, super comfortable, and all around freaking fabulous!!! I even took it to Cali with me were it kept me warm but not overheated. This jacket is magical, I swear, you should really get it :)

This is the absolute warmest jacket I own. I live in Buffalo and we are notorious for getting slammed with snow storms. When I wear this jacket outside I actually sweat. There is no reason to layer up because you'll roast wearing just a T-shirt. This is the best jacket for football games and tailgating. The hood is awesome. Not a thin hood, its just as insulated as the jacket with fur trim that is so awesome! I fit into a small in North Face and bought a small in this jacket, but I would have sized up because of the arm length. If you are the type of person that has long arms definitely size up for that extra length. I still wear this jacket religiously, just with a pair of gloves.

This jacket is pretty amazing. In fact, it's almost too warm. I live in Chicago where I am rarely driving so a coat that goes above and beyond is a must, and I often times find myself sweating by the time I reach my destination in this thing. This jacket is perfect if you want something super warm, lightweight, but not too constricting. I wore the Arctic Parka last year, and I think this coat is just as warm, even though it is not knee length. It doesn't feel so "too much coat" as other winter coats do. The graphite gray plaid is gorgeous as well. I have gotten so many compliments. Definitely a great purchase.

The coat is super warm, it's light, but it's durable. The hood is so fun. Like having a puppy on your head at all times. I highly highly highly recommend you buy this coat. I am a college student, so I'm constantly trekking across the windy, open, snowy, blistering cold on campus, and this coat has made this durable. The belt is super flattering, and the zipper is nice and durable. The only thing I believe the coat needs is a jetpack, so I don't have to walk place to place. I wouldn't use it to go skiing, but it looks absolutely fantastic. So fly. Like a G6.

This jacket will definitely keep you warm.. most of the time I wear a tshirt under it because if I wear anything else....I will be sweating like crazy. My only dislike about this jacket is that it is not long enough!!!
