"Best Overall Jacket!" 12/30/11
My college daughter wanted a warm, multipurpose jacket that was not bulky, this was the perfect choice. The outside is waterproof will deflect rain, sleet, snow. The inner jacket is a cozy fitted jacket that is the perfect layering piece. In combo, this jacket will protect you from whatever Mother Nature throws at you! It comes with a hood that is removable, on days that you don't need it. This jacket does it all without making you look like a marshmallow!
"I absolutely LOVE this jacket." 12/14/11
I just moved back to Wisconsin from Florida and I was on the market for something that would keep me warm in the below zero winters and look cute at the same time. This is my first Wisco winter in about 6 years so needless to say, my body is NOT used to these temps. This jacket is fantastic... definitely keeps me warm while I'm out and about. I do a lot of outdoor activities and I am 100% confident that this jacket is going to do the trick all winter. The fit it fairly true to size (I got a S). I have 4 other North Face jackets and they're all S. It's a little snug with a big hoody underneath but I don't think I'll be needing a hoody since the jacket will keep me warm enough by itself.
"Great coat!!" 12/01/09
I ordered this coat mainly to take on an upcoming trip to Germany, in December. Living in Nebraska, I will get plenty of use out of it at home. I ordered a Large so I can layer and still enjoy a little extra room in the coat. I LOVE the subtle pattern on the black. The weight is perfect, it is warm and has great features. The sleeves are long enough for my long arms. The pit zips are super. Coat is long enough to cover my butt. Easy to take the liner out -it is a very stylish jacket on its own- and put back in. Great coat overall, well worth the price.
