"GREAT JACKET! ONE OF THE BEST!" 03/31/11
I bought this jacket for my mother for Christmas and after seeing how much she loved it I went and bought my own! This jacket scores a 10 out of 10 all around! I love that it can be used as three different jackets so that you can use it in different weather conditions. Great jacket for cold weather and for avid skiers! LOVE IT!

When living in Michigan you need a great jacket to survive our crazy cold winters. This my friends is a great jacket. Seriously. It's perfect for trekking across campus, running errands or making snow angels. Love the fit - nice cut and not bulky.
"great multipurpose jacket" 12/13/10
I just bought this jacket as a Christmas gift for my girlfriend. I gave it to her early since I'm such an amazing guy. We live in Texas and the weather is constantly changing. Seriously, today the high was 49/50 and tomorrow the high is 72. She needs versatility and loves The North Face so this jacket was hands down perfect for her. The liner is very light but great for brisk evenings when she needs more than just a fleece. The outer layer is good as a windbreaker or raincoat just by itself. Also the fit looks great. Coats can make a girl look bulky but this one doesn't. I would say I definitely did well this Christmas.
"Didn't work for me....." 12/13/10
I was super excited to buy a North Face jacket for my birthday and ordered the centauri because I thought it would keep me warm and I would look good in it. I ordered a medium which ended up being HUGE on me (I'm 5'5 and 140 pounds) and yet cut into my armpits. I was really disappointed. Anyhow, I'm returning the jacket and am going to try to find out that doesn't fit so awkwardly.

I travel a lot for work and when packing during the cold weather months I always end up trying to pack 3 or 4 different jackets because when you are gone for 3 plus weeks at a time you just can't predict the weather. This jacket is warm and versatile and perfect! It is secure in every area necessary to prevent wind or cold from seeping in. Also the outer layer makes a great rain coat. You can't go wrong with this triclimate jacket.
