"LOVE LOVE LOVE!" 12/04/11
I am an avid Northface fan largely due to the fact that my last coat lasted 6 years. The only reason I was shopping for a new one is that I went down a size. This new coat is gorgeous, I bought the fig color and it is even better in person. It's perfect if you don't want a black coat like everyone else but still want something in a neutral tone. Aside from that it is the softest feeling coat I have ever had! Can't say enough good about it!

Loved the coat right out of the box. Perfect warmth (almost too warm) right when the teen temperatures hit this year. The color is lovely (shiny weimereiner) and puts a little style while being bundled up that goes with everything. Bought a medium and the fit is perfect, nicely fitted and doesn't look like I am a huge marshmallow. Not too short or wide like other brands either. Definitely recommend!

I bought this coat to replace another down coat coat that had lost most of its feathers. This coat has to be the warmest down coat I've ever owned. The fit is perfect, if you don't plan on weather a bulky boiled wool sweater over it, plus you won't need it. A base layer is perfect. The pockets are lined with super soft fleece too, bonus! The one drawback which isn't huge by any means is if you swing your arms at all when you walk its a little noisey.Overall, two thumbs up on this coat. And I got it while they were doing their grab bag promotion so I got all kinds of cool extras with my purchase.

I LOVE this jacket! It is comfortable, well-fitting, and extremely warm! I bought it for function, but I wasn't expecting it to be so cute! I also love the color (Shiny Weimaraner Brown). The lighting in the website makes it look more reflective than it actually is. It does have a little bit of a sheen on the surface, but it is not obnoxious. It is by far my favorite jacket that I have ever owned.

When I started planning for a move up north from the south, I pretty much figured that fashion would have to go out the window in favor of being bundled up and warm. Then I found the Carmel jacket. It's warm, lightweight, snuggly, and really really cute, too. I am able to move freely when I put it on and the neck gives it that added bit of flair and comfort missing in a lot of down jackets. I'm not sure I've ever been so happy with a winter coat. Ever.
