Rated 5 out of 5 by from This Jacket Makes Me Happy After moving to a desert climate, where summers are hot and winters are colder than I'm used to, I got sick of shivering and bought this with my Christmas money. Glad I did! I did notice that it's a bit tricky to get into when both the jackets are attached, so I wear the two separately and don't have a problem. Just put on the fleece, then put on the over jacket. All in all, excellent jacket with great versatility, and a must for starting your North Face armada. But watch out if you need to be stealthy for any reason, because this is the crispiest jacket I've ever owned. Every move you make is audible, which makes me chuckle every time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Absolutely Incredible I fell in love with this jacket when I saw it. I love North Face products, and I know someone who owns the same jacket as this, and she loves it. She told me about it and how she got it and she used it all the time. She said that it was well worth the $250 she spent on it and that she got so much use out of it that I should get one. She convinced me to get it, so I bit the bullet and bought one. And it's amazing. It's like 3 coats in 1...literally. I like to wear them together in the winter and then when it rains use the outside part and when I wanna be comfy and warm, I take out the fleece and throw it on(: Definitely worth the money!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ammmmazzzziiiinnnnnngggggg This jacket is absolutely amazing. I live in the pacific northwest and it not only keeps me warm in the early morning, but it also keeps me dry. I did not have the same issue that others had with the jacket running small, in fact it fits like a glove. The only issue I had was the zippers on the shell would not unzip at the bottom so I could open the coat. This was easily remedied by going to the North Face store and having one of the amazing guys there give it a quick tug and it opened (or as I like to think that I loosened it up for him). Overall this jacket is perfect for anyone who lives somewhere with bi-polar weather where you never know what to expect.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible Bought this jacket for my fiance for christmas she wore it for a week and decided to wear the fleece alone. The fleece was falling apart, half of the fleece was on my black car seats and the other half was fallen apart inside the shell. We sent it back to NF the first week of Jan. We got no confirmation that they recieved the $250 jacket. A month passed we called and they had not checked the coat in. They informed us that it could take up to 6-8 weeks for returns. In the meantime we had an epic winter for snow in MI. Another month passed called back the gentleman I spoke with said the coat was definately defective the material fell apart during their test.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from MooseJaw is awesome! I am writing a favorable review and I've not even received the North Face Triclimate jacket yet!! The Moosejaw site has the exact same jacket for $260 that is $350 at the North Face site and on top of that - I got 3XReward points that gained me a total of 7,800 points on this purchase alone. These points will get me a super nice additional item for free. And, if that's not enough, Moosejaw gave me free shipping and LIFETIME return. So, my worry to buy this jacket as a Christmas present is gone. With this kind of price, gifts, shipping and guarantee, I can't go wrong! So, before I even get my purchase - I'm sold!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from buy it, you won't regret it Let me start by saying my last winter coat was 9 years old, but I'm picky so it took me 7 years to find another one that I liked the look of. When I opened up the delivery at work, people claimed it didnt look warm enough. However, NYC recently had a frigid spell this past week, and I was completely unaffected. I wish north face made a body suit out of this coat that I could walk around in.,,,,Pros:,,Super soft liner,,Streamlined fit, not your usual bulky winter coat,,Can use outer shell as a rain coat,,,,Cons:,,Outer shell is rather noisy (do not wear on ninja outings),,Trouble getting the zipper started, but that just could be due to my lacking coordination skills

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great 2 jackets in one! Bought this jacket in green for my daughter. She loves it! She goes to school in the TX panhandle where a good coat is a must to block wind & cold. Home in Dallas, she wears the plush, zip-out jacket by itself usually. There are tons of pockets in the outer shell. I can see how it'd be awesome for snow skiing & other outdoor sports. The option to have a hood when needed or hide it away is great for those that don't like having a hood hanging down the back all the time. The jacket fits snug, so if you want to wear clothes under it that have bulk, then you may need to go up a size. In all, an extremely efficient outdoor jacket, plus a great way to get two jackets in one!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Stylish and extremely warm! I have gone round and round with winter jackets this year, they all seem too bulky and make you look larger than you really are.... What girl wants that? I came across the boundary triclimate and after reading reviews, I was sold... However I am 5'1 and 120lbs and after reading the reviews I decided to size up like most stated so I ordered a medium... It was way too big, and long... And when i tried the fleece on alone and the outer shell, i was floating in them, so I took a chance with the size small and it is amazing! It is a bit snug in the arms, but I still have some room to put a hoodie or something baggy underneath... Such a flattering, warm and all around a great coat!
