"Not the coat for me" 12/20/11

Please be aware that this coat has velcro around the zipper area to help secure the flap over the zipper. In my experience, velcro on the fronts of jackets is a disaster for any kind of garment. It is amazing to me that this coat has velcro on the front. For this reason, I promptly returned this coat. Overall, the quality looks good, the fit a bit baggy, but the velcro killed it for me. If velcro front is not an issue, then this coat may be for you--typical North Face quality garment.
