"The tent to take when your life's on the line!" 05/20/11

The VE 25 is the premier expedition quality tent whether on Aconcagua, Denali or any of the other 7 summits. Yeah, it's a bit heavy, but there's no better tent when the winds are whipping at 60+ mph or the air temp is -10 deg F. The tent goes up easily with 2 people, but not that tough for even one person as long as it's not too windy. It's called a 3-person tent, but realistically, only two people with expedition gear really fit into these. Three in an emergency. The vestibules are sized for backpack, boots, poles and everything else you don't need in the tent.
