I have had this pack for almost a year and it has seen everything from a hike into the Cascades on a fly fishing trip to a week long trek in Chile. It is my go to pack when flying, as I can fit a laptop, a notebook, rain gear, shoes, extra clothing and water. It is also my primary day pack for hiking in the Rockies. I do wish it was a bit lighter, but it is durable, the zippers are solid and has very useful pockets.
This pack has everything you will need for a day or weekend hike. It is very comfortable and lightweight. This pack has great little features throughout that come in very handy. Plenty of little pockets and loops also.
"Excellent backpack for travel....carry-on approved!"

I took this pack on a two week backpacking trip through Europe. I'm a female and was able to fit everything I needed for the two weeks into the Terra 35. I packed light, but was super excited that the whole thing is compact enough to use as a carry-on. It is also very light and ergonomic so wearing it for extended periods of time was no problem. The pockets on the outside and the inside were very convenient and accessible. I highly recommend this pack for its style, convenience, and carry-on abilities. It is also very high quality so hopefully I will be taking it many more places!!
As it sits, ready for whatever, in my closet, this pack is holding a 2 man tent, a featherlite sleeping bag, 2 MRE's, utensils, an MSR mug, a water purification system, firestarting kit, a fold-into-itself coat, extra daypack,2 compression sacks, a machete, and a BIG knife, and there's still a bit of room for maybe two days worth of clothes and another MRE. I LOVE THIS PACK! It's PERFECT for 1-3 days. Someone wrote a review somewhere saying you could pack it for a week... I have all minimalist items and I would say, even leaving out superflous items, that would be a stretch, BUT you may get @ 4 days out of it living VERY minimally. FANTASTIC purchase though. I highly recomend it.

I friggin' LOVE this bag! as it sits in my closet while I write this I have 2 MRE's, a 2 man tent, a featherlite sleeping bag, msr mug, jetboil utensils, machete, BIG knife, 70oz hydration reservoir, a water/wind proof pullover coat, ANOTHER small daypack(empty), and I'm for sure leaving out a thing or two, and I STILL have room for about two sets of clothes and another MRE. This is a GREAT 2-3 day bag. I've read that someone stuffed it with a weeks worth... I'm not sure that's acurate because EVERYTHIG I have is minimalist-related, but, this bag is PERFECT!
Used this on an overnight climbing longs peak. Was perfect. Would work great on long weekends too. Love the pockets, especially the bottom level pack access.
This bag is great for backcountry trips. If you're a minimalist it can hold about a weeks worth of gear in mild weather. The side straps are usually handy for holding on a small tent and sleeping pad.
