The North Face Talus 2 Tent is a two person tent with everything you need on the trail or at the campground. In this neat little package, you’ll get the tent body, poles, rainfly, guyline, footprint, and gear loft. The footprint protects the tent floor from dirt, rocks, and even puddles, as it is specially shaped to go with the Talus 2. The tent is easily pitched with clips to the hubbed poles. The one and a half doors means a tiny escape portal for you or your sleeping partner, so you won’t wake each other during a midnight call of nature by climbing over one another to get out. Dual vestibules when the rainfly is up provides plenty of space for boots and packs. Store your small items in the gear loft, nobody wants to wake up to find a headlamp shaped indent in their back.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Talus 2 Tent I purchased this a month ago and I have used it for 10 days in Georgia. I plan on taking it with me overseas to use for an additional 9 months. Pros: It is extremely easy to set up since the poles are all connected. It takes me 7 minutes to set up and 5 minutes to take apart. It is also very spacious for a 2 person tent. It is lightweight and great for backpacking. The rain fly and tent are color coated so it is easy to put up. It is super inexpensive for the quality. It is one of the few tents that include a footprint (saves you about $30). Cons: It is a little difficult to get all of the pieces back in the bag but practice makes perfect. It doesn't come with easy to follow instructions but if you have put up any tent this one is self explanatory. It had a minor leak in a downpour that soaked my first aid kit but the rain fly held up pretty well otherwise.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Aw yeah. I got this tent last minute the day before a backpacking trip because I'm really good at procrastinating. The selling points to me- it was 2 person (found out the hard way that a 1 person tent is not big enough for me + my dog) and it was the lightest and cheapest of 2 person tents available in store. I couldn't find any reviews, but I'm glad I took the gamble and purchased this. It's easy to set up, roomy inside, and seems tough. The first day it was 60 and sunny, then it rained all day the next, then in the morning I woke up to 2 inches of snow. Not a drop leaked in so I'm very happy with this tent so far. I'd also like to note that I really like the square design as it makes it taller. The sloping sides of my old tent freaked my dog out and he wouldn't relax, but he got right into this one and slept the whole night without bothering me. My only complaint is that the poles are bulky for backpacking, but I wanted a bigger tent so I'll get over it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Tent for the price This tent is awesome. I use it when backpacking with my girlfriend and my dog. It comes with a footprint which is a great selling point for me. The external frame allows you to use just the rainfly and footprint for warmer weather camping. I have yet to use this in rain but I have no doubt that it will be able to hold up.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just tried this for the first time Just took this tent out for the first time last weekend. Low 30s/upper 20s with light snow coming down. Worked great, was sturdy and warm. Stoked to take it out this summer!
