The North Face Stormbreak 2 Tent is a two person tent for the local campground or hoofing it in the backcountry. The tent body clips to the poles via clips, making setup and teardown fast. The color-coding on the tent body and rain fly make rainy day pitches a snap so you can create a dry space to hunker down in. The dual doors and vestibules make sharing easier, so you and your buddy can come and go as you please, without having to crawl over each other or gear. Plenty of headroom makes dressing in the morning a little easier before taking off on the next trail.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Extremely comfortable for the price I got this tent as I am a college student and wanted a good quality tent to take backpacking while keeping to a budget. But I was surprised! This tent not only makes me feel completely comfortable when a storm rolls in (always stay dry, handles wind well), but it also was surprisingly spacious in the amount of headroom it provides. It's very livable. There aren't a lot of the bells and whistles that some of the more expensive tents have, but who needs those (you wanted to go outdoors, not sit in an RV). It packs down well enough to take solo backpacking, but would definitely be no problem if you were going with someone else to split it with.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from this tent rules. I bought this tent to go camping on the beach in Florida. Yeah, I know it's a brand name & more expensive than a cheapo Coleman but I wanted a tent that would last more than a few years so I shelled out the cash for North Face. I did (very little) research before committing, I just wanted to make sure I had one that was easy pitch design - I doubt I'll have access to the ten's of folks required to put other tents together. This guy certainly is awesome. I can put it together in less than 5 minutes & by some sort of miracle I even got it back in the "sleeve" for toting around...rather than ball it up & secure with a bungee (which was plan number 2). ,,Overall, this tent is great - lots of room & easy to put up.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Almost perfect I used this tent this weekend for the first time. It performed great. We hiked in about 3 hours in the rain and hail. The tent was a bit wet when we set up but it kept us totally dry through the frequent downpours all night. It set up in less than 4 minutes. I give 4 stars because I set up this tent at home before I left for our trip which was a good thing because I discovered that, when using the fly, there are 10 staking points. The tent comes with only eight stakes. So I grabbed two stakes from my old tent. Also would be nice to have a gear loft but for the price, this is an excellent tent.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from EASY! The tent was very easy to set up and I would say fool proof (even though I failed to do it right the first time). The instructions are simple and the tent and fly anchor straps are color coded three yellow and one red that will match your front door with the fly side that opens all the way(the other side of the fly just has a small tie that can be cut to fully unzip it) . I was amazed by this tent and the weather proof qualities. I felt the temperature difference the tent created with the fly on, and the breeze allowed with fly open or off. Plenty of room for two people and some gear (I am only 5'5" but 240lbs). I am happy with my purchase even though I was told I paid too much for such a small tent (camp mates)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from easy setup, kept us dry! I bought this tent for a backpacking trip my husband and I took in Colorado. It rained on us all four days and all three nights and this tent never once failed us. We stayed dry and warm and the fly gave us plenty of extra room outside of the tent to keep our boots and backpacks dry as well. The tent was very fast and easy to put up, which is advantageous in the rain. I am overall extremely pleased with the performance of this tent.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from TNF, period! I borrowed my friend this tent for the weekend and I have Stormbreak 1. I love the roomy inside and the quality of the tent. High/low vent is awesome! The glow zipper is very good to have and the zipper doesn't snag. Zip very smoothly. In the winter, it stays warm inside with perfect ventilation. Fly does a great job keeping the wind/rain out.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great tent for the money. Always glad to buy a North Face tent. Appears to be the same high quality you find with North Face. The only thing I think is lacking is a small pocket on the inside. But hey, for $158 you can't get it all. Definitely recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great tent Used on a camping trip with heavy winds and rain. Stayed dry and the tent held up nicely against the conditions.

I can't find floor size or how small it packs for motorcycle trip

Asked by: Leader 50
Hey there, Thanks for the question. The floor area of this tent is 30.56 sqft, and it has a packed size of 7 x 22 inches. I hope this helps!
