"Once loaded up, pretty comfortable fit" 02/11/11
The back panel and over the shoulder straps are geared in a way that makes it pretty comfortable for wearing an extended period of time for a day pack. The waist straps are fairly bulky and can get in the way if you don't have the pack loaded enough to really use them. The main part of the pack has a lot of room to load up, however when even slightly full in the main part, the front zipper pocket is pretty useless. I do like the vent in the back panel for added comfort for extended wearing, and once its all packed up and 'locked and loaded' with shoulder and waist straps on, it wears well as a day pack.
"Not a great pack" 02/22/10
The size of it is pretty weird. Once you put a bladder in it there is not a whole lot of room for much of anything else.I typically use this bag for day hiking and it does ok at that except for the suspension system. I have also used this bag a couple of times as a crag pack but it is too small to do that job successfully. The waist strap is too big and awkward. You can't really pack this bag heavy enough that you really need the waist strap but it is so big and bulky that you can't really do anything else but wear it. The shoulder straps aren't the greatest either, I tend to lose some circulation in my arms with them. All and all I do not recommend getting it.
