"Awesome family tent." 03/07/12
This tent rocks. For a large family tent (or group of wild beer swirling campers) this tent is very easy to set up; like only 5 minutes with two adults. It is durable and even though it called an eight man tent you could slide a few extra litte people in there for good measure. Point being it is nice and big; very big. My only constructive criticism is that it got a wee tear in it the first day I took it out. Could be user malfunction though so I am going to give it the benefit of the doubt.
"Very nice and easy to Set up." 01/17/11
First of all this tent is huge. I went camping with my wife and my four children one of which was in a porta crib and we all fit great with plenty of room to move around. You can stand fully upright in this tent unless you are 6ft. 4. in. tall. Takes about 15 mins. to set up which for a tent this size seems amazing to me. We got a lot of rain and high winds and the tent was a rock with no water let in at all. I would definitely recommend this tent to anyone who is looking for a family camping tent. The only draw back would be the bucks but hey it fits eight people.
"Big and sturdy" 07/16/10
I became interested in this tent after weathering a Wyoming wind and rain storm in it with friends- completely dry after 24 hrs of rain and 50 mpg winds! The tent is huge! My family of 5 can spread out (even with two cots). The poles are sturdy aluminum and the set up is quick. The rain fly is full length- for the storms! The floor seems a bit thin but is totally waterproof. My only complaint is the doors do not have full length netting so you can only open the top 12 inches or so for ventilation without letting bugs in. With the fly on and the sun on the tent- it gets warm inside despite all the vents open.

With this monster your butler and maid can stay with you and they can both have their own rooms. “Honey, where is the maid. I need my sleeping bag fluffed”“She is in the south wing”“I thought the butler was in the south wing”“Oh…”That too is possible with this tent as the two room dividers have two positions to allow for one or two person ‘wings’. The main hall (dome) has a front and back door. The front door has a huge vestibule large enough to house your perfectly clipped Dobermans..postscript. Don’t be tempted to try this for any tramping though (unless you butler is carrying it). Have your chauffeur drive it to its pad. Show the Moose your love.
