The North Face Mountain 25 Tent is a two person tent for your next expedition into the mountains. The Mountain 25 is built to take on howling winds and the cold, wet snow so you can hunker down and make it further up the mountain the next day. The compact design is ready to be pitched in tight, uneven spaces along the mountain. The poles connect to the tent with sleeves for strength, and clips at the sides make set up just a touch faster. The seam taped bucket floor prevents water from soaking in from the bottom and the rain fly protects from above with a poled vestibule to create a large gear storage in front of the single door. The port window has been cold-crack tested down to -60 degrees Fahrenheit so you can check out the weather without leaving the warmth of the tent. The included Kevlar guylines won't stretch, withstanding the changing conditions on the mountain and are reflective so you don't trip over them in the night. Your next home on the mountain.

Very DurableI have put this tent through the ringer and I will say, it has certainly performed as it promised it would. It's very durable, more so than 90% of TNF products, but the numerous guy-out points along with the ease-of-set up really make this an awesome piece of gear. In a perfect world they would shave a little weight to make our backs hurt a little less but with less weight comes less durability so I say - keep the weight. This definitely isn't a tent for summer camping but for winter trips its like a little palace. I will definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a good winter camping set up.

Love it to the point I just bought a second oneI just bough my second mountain 25 from moosejaw fore more people on my next trip. This tent is was great investment, I've had it for a year and a half, and it's definitely covered the expense, and I'm sure that ten years from now, I'll be using this same tent. ,,one con is that it's a little heavy (about 9 pounds)

Best Tent I Have Ever Used (Though Slightly Heavy)I have used this tent in the Sierra, the Blue Ridge, on Rainier, in Banff, CO, etc. The only thing that has gone wrong with the tent in the 11 years I have been using it is the plastic screen in the vestibule rotted out. This was due to my leaving it in my attic for storage for years when not in use. The temps ranged negatives to 120 F. The up and down caused the glue over the years to loosen, but this took at least 8 years. It is like a rock hut in the wind. The guy lines, when set, keep the tent so tight that you could jump on it like a trampoline, although I have not tried this. I would take this tent in any snowy conditions and count on it. I also used it in HUGE rain storm in the Virginia Highlands, and not a drop of water got on my gear or me (GREAT rain fly). I felt sorry for the wild horses outside though. Also, NF has done nothing but improve this tent since I purchased mine. I have looked at the new ones, and if I didn't already have mine from 2003, I'd buy one.

nice good looking tent!Make me look like a pro!,,I had the MH trang and now this one, and I love them both,,this one it has a better rooftop, easier to adjust. The slleve system to put the poles is not very confortable, but it looks stronger,,O bought the footprint too, but floor looks strong and resistant,,great purchase!

this is an a-ok tent.I like this tent because of the very easy set up and its size (plenty of room); the only down side - condensation (as always) this tent does not have very good ventilation so expect water in the morning.
