I know its tough enough going out with the dog. Now you can go winter camping with your girlfriend and your dog. This tent is great, enough room for 2.5. Its made of very high quality durable materials, great. And the bottom line is that North Face offers a lifetime warrenty on this, a no brainer.

"You won't be disappointed!"

Haven't got to use it to the extremes much. But it held against rain better than any tent I have been in. We camped a weekend just to get away and it down poured for about 4 hours that night to the point that our boat was half full of water; and we didn't get wet and we didn't have anything on the ground as well. Completely satisfied.

"great tent but too big"

great 4 season tent but not for me since it is too big for what i need. really seams like a 3 person that a 2 person tent. however it is well constructed. 10 pound for a three person isnt bad but 10 for a two person is a bit on the heavy side. you can certainly squeez three people in here with gear in the ves.

"Top notch 4-season expedition tent"

Used for a week-long mountaineering expedition on Mt. Rainier in July 2007. It has lots of room, including headroom for 2 people and tons of expedition gear. Especially nice was the small, backpack sized vestibule at the back, and the very large, cooking and gear staging vestibule at the front. Thoughtful pluses like snow flaps to keep everything wind tight. Our weather was warm and dry, so we didn't test the limits, but it was a great tent for a week on the snow.
