Great dual use tentBought this for weekend car camping (no pad sites for us thank you), and occasional backpacking. Good design features include near vertical walls allowing 3 of us ample room to sleep, move around, sit up, tell lies during the rainstorm, and the like Easy setup and breakdown and good in the wind as long as you guy it to trees or ground stakes. No problems during our 1st outing with a heavy 2:00am thunderstorm at 12,000 ft. Some have said this tent accumulates rain water between the two parallel poles and cannot withstand gusty winds. After reading the negative reviews and having my own experiences I disagree... and advise that this is a well made/designed tent that requires a thoughtful setup. Use the guys and stake down the fly tight and go on with your adventure!! Moosejaw customer service and shipping was stellar!,,

Bottom Line... this is a fair weather tent. The Minibus is a great tent in "Good Weather". This tent will not hold up in any sort of wind. Left camp for the day to go climbing and came back to see that the 20 to 25mph wind gusts forecasted for that day bent all the poles beyond use!!! I have used this tent for a couple years now and it shocked me to see it crumble in a little bit of wind.
