"Nice Coat, soft but not fleece" 03/21/12
Got for my son who lost his Windwall 1. This is nice, got the blue and it's lighter than photo ~ a bit of a vintage unique shade but he likes it and since it's unique he won't look like every other kid in their North Face AND hopefully won't loose this one!!! My son doesn't like the feel of fleece and this is nice and soft but not fleece.
"Best softshell I have found" 12/18/11
I have two Northface Windwall 2 Jackets. I wear one or the other almost daily in the colder months. I hike and take photographs of animals very often and it is very quiet. It blocks the wind, keeps you warm, and does a pretty good job of repelling rain. Buy one or better yet save some time and get two, because after having one you will want another.
