"Hotness!" 12/12/11
I just bought this for my boyfriend and I can't wait till he opens it up for Christmas! I know that he will absolutely love it and he's been hinting at me to get him one ever since I got mine! And he loves red and loves fleece?! Yeah, any lady out there that wants to get her man a North Face, then this is a good idea.

This jacket is not overly warm, which suits my purpose well as I live between NC and AL and obviously while this jacket is warm and windproof, it's not overkill like some jackets that are made for much colder regions. It's soft, has well positioned pockets, and great style points. Can't beat the lifetime guarantee from North Face, either. Several of my friends have bought these just because they liked mine so much.Fits true to size, no issues. I got a Large and am 5'10" and weigh 225 lbs. Spot on.

To cut to the chase, this jacket has a great hand, is warm (the 20 and under CFM is believable, you can test with the "breath through and see if you feel on hand on other side of fabric" technique for ballpark comparisons). But in temperate climes, can be a bit overkill when slightly warm out, and for colder days, it doesn't cut the wind completely unless you have a shell over it. But if I lived in a place where there was a lot of snow and a long winter, I'd definitely find greater use for it.Don't get me wrong - bombproof construction, soft fleece surface, and looks really slick too. Just some advice to make sure it will meet your particular needs.

My husband doesn't get excited very often, well, never really. I decided to buy him this jacket for his birthday mostly because I didn't know what else to get him and I wanted to get the points to spend on myself! Surprisingly, he actually really liked the jacket and wears it all the time! It's been really cold here in the Packer state, and this jacket has been plenty warm for him whenever we have gone out together. It was a little stiff when he got it, but after a few wears he states that it is now "broken in". I'm very happy that my husband seems to enjoy a gift I got him! Thumbs up for the WindWall 2.
"Nice jacket but a little stiff" 12/16/10
This is a very nice jacket but it is a little bit stiff (probably the wind stopping aspect) and it runs a little bit smaller up top than other Northface jackets like the APEX. Overall it is a nice jacket

my nephews requested north face fleece jackets for christmas, and i searched around, until i found them here at MooseJaw. i think they will be very happy with the jackets, i was happy with the selection, the fast shipping and the goofy emails. no one has worn the jackets yet, but i have every expectation that they will more than fulfill the needs of a couple of teenagers for a warm jacket.

I have the women's windwall jacket and love it. The outside is fleece, but the jacket isn't thick and bulky, it's actually pretty thin. And it really does a great job at blocking the wind and keeping you warm, plus it's really comfortable. I purchased this jacket for my boyfriend for Christmas and I know he'll enjoy it just as much as I enjoy mine.
