The Men's Vortex Triclimate Jacket by The North Face. This men’s winter jacket was built for versatility and functionality with its three-in-one system. This North Face jacket has a waterproof, breathable shell and zip-out Heatseeker Eco liner. Wear each layer of the Vortex Triclimate separately or together to accommodate any weather condition. "Great Jacket for Skiing" 03/31/12
I wear this one skiing and I mostly ski Alta in Utah. Some days can get warmer, some days can get cold. Either way, this jacket helps with layering big time. Both inner jacket and shell are comfortable for movement, and stylish enough to wear apres-skiing. It is functionally well thought out (placement of pockets, tabs on pocket zippers, lens cloth on attached lanyard in the left wrist pocket, ipod pocket and headphone opening if ya just have to be listening). The wrist pocket looks cool, but I actually find it useful for putting carmex or lodge keys, etc there. All in all, a well constructed, good-fitting jacket for cold weather adventure.

This is one of the best Jackets that I have ever purchased! Well crafted and extremely warm. I used it while snowmobiling and never felt the cold, even traveling at high rates of speed. The inner core separates and becomes a lighter, second jacket. I will buy North Face jackets for life! Worth ever penny!
"nice fit, function, quality, and style." 01/10/12
I'm 6'3, 260, and the XXL fits very well... and is comparable to a XXL Columbia jacket I also have as far as fit is concerned. It should be noted that the interior media and goggle pockets are not really accessible when the liner is actually zipped in to the shell. For me, it's a relatively minor issue and I am otherwise very pleased with the jacket overall.

This jacket is a very comfortable jacket with very high quality. When wearing this jacket with the included insert it is extremely warm, and the underarm vents provide additional comfort. However, the inner jacket seems a bit cheap, and i worry about ripping it or breaking it when wearing it because the material it is constructed of is very thin.
