I use these backpacking, belaying, and during rainy football practices. They have kept me dry through several downpours. Very dependable there. And they look great. But the design of the crotch gusset needs improvement. Or maybe its the inside mesh. Dunno. Either way, I cannot do anything that requires stretching in these pants, like climbing. They bind from the crotch to the knees restricting movement.

These pants fit true to size, elastic in waistband is good, ankle velcro is good and not too exposed to accumulate dirt, etc. They shed water like its their job.... which it is....
I bought these pants for my boyfriend, cause he wanted waterproof pants. He loved everything about them, and so do I, he however wanted bungees on the ankles instead of velcro, so I had to return them...bummer. Anyway as to not waste a good review, I have to say that these pants are really nicely made. The inside is lined with a mesh type material that is pretty breathable. He said they were comfortable, sized true to fit, just didn't like the velcro at the ankles. Personally I think he is an idiot for returning them...but thats just me.
These pants do what they are supposed to do! Definitely keep the water out and add a layer of insulation. Very light so they are perfect to throw on over whatever else you are wearing when the rains come. I have used them many times now and continue to be happy with how dry they keep me
