Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice pants I bought these pants for my boyfriend, cause he wanted waterproof pants. He loved everything about them, and so do I, he however wanted bungees on the ankles instead of velcro, so I had to return them...bummer. Anyway as to not waste a good review, I have to say that these pants are really nicely made. The inside is lined with a mesh type material that is pretty breathable. He said they were comfortable, sized true to fit, just didn't like the velcro at the ankles. Personally I think he is an idiot for returning them...but thats just me.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Comfortable and waterproof I purchased the North Face Resolve Pant for an upcoming trip to Alaska. Shortly after they arrived I made a trip to the Oregon Coast which provided a great opportunity to test them out. I wore them on numerous walks in 50 degree very rainy weather. They kept me completely dry and comfortable. I tried them over pants and shorts, and found the shorts to be a little more comfortable, as they were a bit warm for me with pants on at that temperatue. I think that the mesh lining really helped them not to feel clammy, which was really nice. However, the mesh did make it difficult to slip them on and off with my boots on, as the tread caught on the mesh. I normally wear a size 30 or 31 waist and 34 length, and the M/M size fits great.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Wonderful pants to use in the winter in the mid-atlantic I have been looking for a nice pair of pants which I can use during the awful winters in northern Virginia and upon browsing the Moosejaw website I was finally able to find them. I am indeed happy to have a pair of outer pants that will allow me to walk my dog as well as participate in outside activities and staying dry at the same time. I am simply awaiting the arrival of the best or worse winter this area has encountered so that I may try out my new purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect multi use backpacking pant On a five day backpack trip every oz. counts. When these came to my house I was very happy to find out that these are so comfy and breathable I can wear them all day. Great news because I was able to eliminate some pants from my pack and take these for my rain pants and for cool day/evening pants! I only had to take some convertible pants, shorts, and these, I was all set! Very durable feeling, kept me dry in a thunder storm and warm at camp.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from They keep me dry but... I use these backpacking, belaying, and during rainy football practices. They have kept me dry through several downpours. Very dependable there. And they look great. But the design of the crotch gusset needs improvement. Or maybe its the inside mesh. Dunno. Either way, I cannot do anything that requires stretching in these pants, like climbing. They bind from the crotch to the knees restricting movement.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Quality. I love The North Face brand. Fits I wanted rain pants that fit. 3 years ago, I bought a similar pair but size Medium. I wanted something that fit better. The fit on this is really great. It is a little bit bulky on the bottom but with the velcro you can make it fit just right. The water doesn't go in, even when there is a lot of rain. It is breathable, and it is comfortable even with jeans on.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great pants for the price These pants do what they are supposed to do! Definitely keep the water out and add a layer of insulation. Very light so they are perfect to throw on over whatever else you are wearing when the rains come. I have used them many times now and continue to be happy with how dry they keep me

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Made for a rainy day These pants fulfill their goal to keep you dry on a rainy day. The pants fit well and look good. On the negative side, they have a swish as you walk. Definitely, wouldn't wear them unless the weather was miserable.
