Do you ever wander around your house on a cold winter morning in a robe and dread the thought of going outdoors? And wish that it was socially acceptable to just wear your robe all day? Well, The North Face Men's Radium Hi-Loft Jacket might just be the next best thing. The Polartec® Thermal Pro® High Loft fleece was developed exclusively for The North Face to give an optimal warmth-to-weight ratio (which I guarantee is better than your dingy old robe). The sides and underarms are 4-way stretch fleece panels to give full mobility. This mid-layer is excellent on its own as a cozy everyday jacket or, with its compressibility and warmth, also shines as a technical piece alone or as an insulating layer under a shell. Let's see your robe do that.

"Nice light and soft fleece that won't overheat you"
I love soft fleece jackets for the winter, it's a great material and North Face has a lot of choices. I tried several of them, but the reason I picked this one was because of the design, the light weight and the underarm vents. I had a regular North Face fleece in the past, which was great because it kept me warm, but over time if I was being active, it would trap all the heat inside and I'd sweat and it would just collect inside. For this one, it has these vents on the underarms and side that gives an exit for the heat to diffuse through. The ribbed look isn't also just for being pretty, it also cuts down on a lot of weight. I was looking for something to wear in 30's to 50's weather and this one is working out pretty well so far and keeping me toasty, but not sweaty, and having a slightly different look than the regular fleece jackets out there.
