"Super Awesome pant well worth the money." 10/27/10

I got these pants with big hopes in mind, and I love them. I was looking for a GTX pant with suspenders and full PU side-zips. The Performance is super breathable and waterproof. The front attach suspenders are more comfortable than I thought. The only negatives about this pant regard its weight. At 30 oz. it is by no means an ultralight pair. They could do w/o the fleece butt area, mesh throughout and gaiters. It all adds weight w/o function. I cut all mine out, cut about 5 oz. These are def. winter pants. Great for mountaineering and ice climbing. I have other shells for summer heat. But in winter, i wouldn't be caught without these on. Really an amazing pant.
