"Best Purchase Made" 11/27/11
I wear this everywhere. I'm on my fourth Chicago winter and the shell has never failed me. Excellent for frigid days when X-Country skiing (mixed with my Denali fleece). Also, the shell alone is great down to the mid 40's and waterproof and breathable. The shell performs as advertised and soes what ot says it will - Highly recommended.

I was hesitant to buy this jacket sight unseen. However, im very glad I took the chance. This is an extremely light, compared to what I wore before, jacket. It is deceivingly thin, but rest assured it is highly functional. I live in NE Ohio and between the rain, wind and snow you need a jacket that will take the abuse and keep smiling. This has fit the bill so far. Don't feel any wind through this, with or without a khumbu fleece zipped in, completely waterproof, and still breathable. As far as durability, that is yet to be determined, but it is a TNF, so i would certainly hope it stands up to its reputation. Buy it... you wont!
"Perfect Jacket" 11/16/11
I have searched for the perfect NF jacket with zip in features for while. This is it. It fits the best (I'm 5'11 185) and a medium is perfect even with a zip in fleece Khumbu jacket. I tried a large and I swam in the shell, but it fit pretty good with a liner. Finally something I can wear spring/fall/winter

I've searched and searched for the perfect North Face Zip in Jacket. I wanted something for spring/summer/fall. This jacket fits the best. I'm 5'11 and about 185 and it fits me perfectly (even with a zipped in fleece Khumbu. I ordered a large and while zipped in it was fine, I kind of swam in just the shell. Great product!
