Rated 5 out of 5 by from I will buy Northface product here, moosejaw I bought Northface men's park at Northface store but after I came back home I found this moosejaw website and saw same product that I bought from Northface store. It was much cheaper than Northface store. So I returned it and bought from here. Thank God I found moosejaw! I like there reward point system that I get reward point after I buy product from here. Wow! I can buy small product for free for Christmas gift for my friend. I really recommend moosejaw to everyone. I usually don't write reviews but I love to review on moosejaw. I will keep buying some product here.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from TNF McMurdo II - Warmth and Fasion I've had this parka for a little more than a month and It. Is. Ah-Mazing. I'm warm moments after it's on. Walking to class sucks less now. On the plus side, the pockets are big and there's more pockets than I thought there were - 6 outside and 1 inside. The hood is removeable, but when you've mastered "le tiger" and "blue steel" why would you ever take it off? And if you're incredible not good looking, do us all a favor and keep the hood on too. #lolololk My only concern is hanging the coat on a hook with the sewn in loop at the collar, the coat is heavy and if my dog attacks the fur, I'm not sure the coat would be held in place by the little piece of fabric. On the plus side of that.... it's still TNF.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Minnesota Nice!! Living, working, hunting and (ice)fishing in Minnesota requires serious winter gear. This is my go-to jacket when conditions get brutal or I'm exposed to the elements for hours at a time. It's replacing a 25-year-old NF parka that has earned its retirement. I recommend North Face and this parka whole-heartedly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Parka!!! I've had this parka a month. It has many great features, especially for the price. I used the Fit Guide and got a perfect fit in the Large. I'm 5'11", 175 lbs. with broad shoulders. I've received many positive comments on the good looks of this parka. Very comfortable. Thanks Moosejaw.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Coat Ever This is my second McMurdo Parka. I wore the first one to death, until it started looking a little frayed. I wouldn't have any other coat but this. Highly recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Unbeleivable Warmth I live in the Chicago area and I have a lighter jacket for most cold commuting days, when all that's required is a jacket that can hold the fort for a walk between my car and work, but does not make me overheat while driving. But I also wanted a jacket for days like today, 2°F and a windchill factor -20°F. In those conditions, if I'm fairly active, such as shoveling the driveway, playing hockey, etc., layered clothing will do the job-until you stop being active!. Then, you get cold fast. However, if you stop being active, or you're relatively inactive, such as watching a Bears-Packers game in sub-zero conditions, different attire is required. The last few days in Chicago, have been the type of Polar vortex days that this jacket was designed for! In the face of sub-zero cold and blistering wind, you feel nothing with this McMurdo II Parka . I simply put the McMurdo over a T-shirt and had no problem putting up more Christmas lights in sub-zero conditions, for several hours. I can stay out all day with this jacket, and when I decide to come back to civilization-such as the local Starbucks, I remove the McMurdo II and all I have underneath is a single (Blackhawks) T-shirt. One of the things I don't like about layered clothing, especially when shopping, is that I overheat when coming inside and have to remove a few layers. That's OK, but cumbersome. With this jacket you can dress with one light layer underneath, and when you remove it, you have light clothing underneath, which immediately solves the overheating problem indoors. Have not gone hunting or skiing with this jacket yet, but I put up a snowman and shoveled the driveway the other day in warmer conditions ( 20°F) and got a bit too warm with it-so I had to unzip the bottom part of the zipper to above my waist. Bottom line, the McMurdo II Parka is a beast in bitterly cold conditions, especially when sedentary. I'm 6-0, 2240 lbs, so an extra large was a good fit for me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great features I brought this right before the tempitures dropped in Chicago and am so happy that I did. It is very warm and doesn't require much layering. The hood is fantastic and the face cover inside is great for wind protection. Tons of pockets and plenty of room to keep additional warm items like gloves. Great bang for your buck at only $330.
