I used rewards points to get one of these for my dad for Christmas. He said it was too big for him and I was gonna send it back buuuut I tried it on and was sold! Ended up flat out buying one for him. This is a very versitile fleece, pretty warm on its own but is even better under a shell to stop the wind.

this jacket can be used for every thing from a cold days hike in the fall or spring time to an extra warm layer to keep that cold frost away on those great sking pow days or just a fun time sleding with the kids!!!!

This is my 2nd Khumbu Jacket from The North Face. While this is not a high-speed hiking/tactical fleece jakcet, this would serve anyone's need in terms of having a cozy fleece jacket. This is very clean cut and option to dress up or down with it. I find the 300 weight fleece just right while some people may claim that it it too heavy. If that is the case, go with 200 weight from TNF and you will be fine. Again, this jacket is great jacket to grab-and-go in chilly morning or evening. Wait for a sale from Moosejaw which I did and ended up with $90 delivered, what a bargain!!

I originally bought the Denali jacket for my boyfriend for Christmas, and the fit was very "off." I returned to Moosejaw and exchanged the Denali for the same jacket in a different size, and that fit was even worse. Apparently, the third time is, in fact, a charm, because I returned to my local shop, boyfriend in tow, and forced him to try on a few different jackets, and he liked the fit of this one the best. I was afraid it wouldn't be warm enough (I live in my Denali jacket), but it turns out I was wrong. My boyfriend usually gets very warm in most jackets, but this is the perfect weight for him... he has worn it all winter with zero complaints of being too cold (or hot).
