The Men's Guile Triclimate Jacket by The North Face. I don’t think this North Face jacket was named very well. There is nothing deceiving about a three-in-one system that is adaptable to changing weather conditions. This winter jacket has a waterproof HyVent shell and a quilted Heatseeker insulating liner can be worn alone or combined for protection in cold, wintry weather. Perhaps its those crazy folks at The North Face that are full of guile for naming this jacket that way.

"My husband loves this coat!" 09/09/12

I bought this coat for my husband as a Christmas gift. He does snow removal in the winter and loves this coat. It is very warm and washes up great. In the fall, he loves to wear the inner layer, which looks nice! Definitely would recommend this coat!

"Keeps you warm, but an awkward fit." 01/14/12

This is a highly versatile and warm coat. The downside is that when you where the liner with the shell the fit is tight around the arms and frequently pulls my sleeves back when putting it on. Other than that, mobility is good.The accompanying hood is quite thin and not very good at keeping you warm as a stand alone. Would recommend getting a beanie to go blond with this.

"Little tight around the arms but overall great jacket" 10/19/11

The jacket is very warm and comfy. I'm 5'10'' and 155lb with a medium build and I ordered a small. My only gripe is that it's a little tight around the arms area and restricts my movement a little. Other than that I love this jacket and love how it's interchangeable into 3 different jackets. Planning to test it out on my upcoming ski trip.

"Nice winter jacket" 08/28/11

I bought this winter jacket last winter and was pretty happy about its performance so far. The jacket kept me warm and dry. A big plus is the possibility to take the fleece out and wear the jacket as a rain jacket/wind breaker. The fleece itself looks decent to, so I wore it during the spring. So far I do not have anything to complain about. The only downside is that I have long arms, so I had to buy the jacket a size bigger. The result is that the body of the jacket is a little to big for me.LTM

"Best Jacket Ever" 04/15/11

You can't ask for a better Jacket. Very warm and if your too hot just unzip it from the inner lining and you have 2 different jackets. Highly Recommended.

"Great for Northern Hikes through the woods" 03/07/11

I received this jacket as a gift for Chrimtmas and wore it to my friends cabin in northern Michigan. The jaket was perfect to keep the warmth in while the snow and the wind were blowing. It was great while going to a hike through the woods. I would highly recommend this jacket .

"This is a perfect jacket for the woods, the snow, the rain- everything!" 02/03/11

I bought this jacket to use in the Michigan woods, at a buddy's cabin- it has been the best item of clothing I've bought since moving from the ATL. I needed a jacket for warmth and for trekking on hikes, and this one fit's the bill. Covers my butt (a HUGE accomplishment!) and keeps the wind from sneaking up. I love the inside layer alone, as it is great for running or hitting the bars! The fit is trim, kind of a slim cut, looks very cool.

"Completely Amazing." 02/01/11

It will keep you warm in any weather, guaranteed. Almost too warm at times, find myself sometimes unzipping the liner even when its way below freezing. With the liner added in its perfect for those long camping trips in the snow with lots of wind... in the dark. Wouldn't go any other way. Looks great (I purchased it in black). Some complain that the shoulder area seems tight, it's just a new coat, wear it for a few days and that goes away once it's broken in. I'd highly recommend it. Happy trails.

"Great Jacket! Great for traveling around Ireland- my boyfriend was ready for any weather!" 01/31/11

I got this jacket for my boyfriend for Christmas and he loved it! The 3 in one gives options. He needed a new jacket for our trip to Ireland and this one was great because he was able to have more than one option and not taking 3 jackets cause the weather there can change throughout the day. He was able to have just a t-shirt on under the jacket so he was comfortable and I think he said "this is the warmest jacket that I have ever had" and "I LOVE this jacket", no less then 5000 times! So, after reading all the reviews on similar jackets and chose this one, I am very happy!

"Great jacket, extremely warm, buy it." 01/18/11

This jacket was is wonderful for any weather condition. I use the shell for the somewhat cold rainy days. The inner jacket is a perfect light weight but warm option. The two combined are extremely warm, but still allows me to stay functional when outside. The jacket is perfect for the up and down weather patterns here in SC.

"A well insulated waterproof winter coat." 12/31/10

I have worn this jacket in a blizzard and a down pour both times it impressed me. Ive have always been warm and dry while wearing it. For the price there isn't a better jacket you could buy
