"Stylish but not very warm" 01/14/13

I love TNF products but I felt a little disappointed with the overall quality of the Gotham jacket, hence my rating. I live in Minnesota and we experience frequent sub-zero temps during the winter months. Unfortunately, the Gotham coat does not really help in insulating against -10 below temps. If I had to buy another down winter coat for Minnesota winters I'd probably invest in a Canada Goose Chilliwack parka over the Gotham. The pockets on the Gotham are also kinda weird and are apparently designed for people with hands like a 10 year old girl. I give the Gotham 1 thump up for style but one thumb down for not keeping me warm when I need it to.

"I'm waiting so long, be quick" 02/23/12

This is the great jacket, it's indispensable for russian winter. Minus 40 degrees C somewhere sometimes. I really love it, ..and you so much. Thanks I'll be back very soon

"It's not once upon a time..." 10/17/09

This jacket by The North Face is the real thing! Jacket is bullet proof. Wind resistant, water resistant and very, very warm. Pockets everywhere. Great feel when you slip it on. Jacket has some weight to it. -20 below, forget about it. And let the wind blow. It will have no effect on you. And this jacket looks fantastic!!! The compliments that I get on this jacket. Forget it! Throw this baby on. put the hood up and throw on a pair of Julbo glacier glasses. You are now "King of the mountain." And when your not wearing it, throw it on a hanger. Place it in the center of the room. Boom!!! Instant converstion piece. Do yourself a favor. Buy this jacket!!!

"I was voted "World's Best Mom" by my son for purchasing him this coat!!!" 02/17/09

Bought this for my son for Christmas when he needed a new winter coat!! He has to walk across campus to class everyday and it is COLD here in Iowa in the winter. He loves his new coat and how warm it keeps him. Plus, he is ULTRA handsome in it. A winner all the way around!! :-)
