The North Face Men's Blaze Micro Full Zip Jacket is a synthetic insulated jacket for a boost of warmth in the winter chill. The Blaze Micro has been lightly stuffed with 60g of polyester insulation with FlashDry™, to keep you warm and dry out quickly in damp situations. The durable 20D 100% recycled polyester outer shell protects against abrasion on the trail and out on the town. Easily packable, it will stuff into it's own hand pocket when the heat of the trail leads to shedding a layer or two. The hand pockets zip closed to protect anything from your keys to snacks and even warm your paws on the go. The binding at the cuffs and cinch-cord at the hem block out drafts in this lightweight, warm jacket for mild winter adventures.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Breathes, no sweat I tested this jacket as a liner under a Gortex shell on several short hikes in mild temperatures and did not experienced excessive overheating/sweating. Any moisture I generated just passed through my clothing, through the Blaze Micro, and finally through the shell. I wouldn't want to use this mainly as an outer jacket since it's neither water nor wind resistant but it does make an almost ideal liner under a wind/waterproof shell. The fit, finish and design of the Blaze Micro is typical North Face high quality. I've ordered 2 more of these jackets for the rest of my family to enjoy.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Shinier than it looks, Warmer than you would think I bought this as a gift and was very concened that I had ordered a Boys jacket instead of a Mens jacket when this tiny little package was thrown at my door by the harried delivery driver.,,,,However it is indeed a Mens jacket, it's just super portable. Like you could probably fold it and put it inside the pocket of some other jacket you might own. But don't do that as you'll forget you did that and you'll never find it again.,,,,Anyway, the recipient says that it is a great spring or fall coat; great for when the wind picks up but doesn't make you sweat like Albert Brooks in "Network" when the sun is out. Though it does appear shinier than the picture shown here. Some of that does fade a bit over time, but it's got almost a Hefty bag sheen to it initially. ,,,,All in all, a good jacket--fun for the whole family!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Late Fall/Early Spring Jacket Very light, packs up small, and is surprisingly warm. I have a Patagonia R1 that wore under it during the winter and that was enough for just about any weather encountered here in the middle of Ohio (it gets down to 0 degrees sometimes). I ordered the blue one and the color is somewhat different than represented in the picture. Almost like there is a tinge of lavender in the blue. Looks cool though. Would buy it again!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is a mens coat but I bought it for me! LOVE the color!! Because I bought a mans coat, it is a little big but the color and stitching is very cool! This is perfect for fall and spring hikes and soccer games. Light and breathable but still so warm! On really long hikes in fall, I may layer a North Face thermal jacket underneath for the extra warmth! Now my husband wants this in Gray.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Light Weight Jacket! I purchased this as a light weight jacket that I will be able to take backpacking with me. It most certainly did not disappoint on the light weight side, and works quite well as an every day jacket was well! I use it when I am trekking across campus and it keeps me plenty warm in the chilly SLC winter weather.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Cool looking, Comfortable, but Quality not so Purchased this jacket, twice. Returned the first one due to uneven dye job on the jacket. Orange jacket with red spots in places. Got second Orange jacket. Good but jacket liner was not fully sewn into the jacket. Not the North Face quality I expect.,,,,Moosejaw customer service is Awesome though.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from its just ok I got this jacket a while back and I wear it more for hiking than anything. Keeps you warm and dry. However,If you are going to spend the money...go for the one with the zip in liner/fleece. it is the best and is what I use for boarding etc.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My son loves this jacket!!! This jacket is true to size, allows some roominess for layering, great for traveling as its ultra light yet warm, perfect for my son whom lives in SanDiego on a cold eve and when he visits NewEngland for the winter holidays...

Does this jacket's zipper work with The North Face's 3-in-1 jacket systems? I'm wondering if this would be a suitable liner for my current triclimate shell.

Asked by: jb1985
Hey there, Unfortunately this jacket is not zip-in-compatible. It can be worn under a North Face Triclimate shell, but it will not zip directly in to it.
