"Super warm, super dry, classic good looks" 05/23/11
These boots keep your foot wam and dry no matter what and they have a classic look that you can rock around town. I used them snowshoeing and the molded rubber piece on the heel really helps the snow shoe bindings stay in place. They are light weight and comfortable. I am really happy with these boots.
"These are great boots!" 05/15/11
These boots are absolutely fantastic, I have had 2 pairs, the first being the Baltoro I. These boots are heavy, but they are comfortable and keep your feet warm. They look good, and are extremely durable. The only reason I replaced the first generation was because I spilled some chemicals into them, and they could not be cleaned. If you dont mind the extra weight (I never really notice the weight of things that I wear) these boots are fantastic for hiking and wearing in cold or rainy weather.
"These boot have kept my feel warm and dry. I love them so far." 04/18/11
I bought these to double as a pair of waterproof work boots and snowboots for the occasional trips up to play in the snow. I have to say so far so good. My feet have stayed warm (but not hot and sweaty) and dry. I did purchase them 1/2 size larger than I normally do in order to accomodate thicker socks and it seems to have worked out well for me. They are comfortable for working, standing, and walking. I have worn them for 8+ hours at a time with no discomfort. I like the aggresive tread on the soles especially when walking over slippery surfaces. I will say that since they are high boots they are fairly stiff to begin with, but began to loosen up after a few days of use.
"Good for snow. Not good for hardwood floors." 01/16/11
The Good: warm, dry, and grippyThe Bad: tongue slideThe Ugly: sole doesn't shed snow/mud/poopYou will dominate snow-covered land. After you dominate, these boots will bring all the snow inside with you and leave murky, cold puddles of water all over your nice floors.
"Awesome Winter Boots!" 12/29/10
I got these boots the beginning of this winter and have absolutely loved them. I have had them out hiking through knee deep snow in -20 degree weather and my feet stayed surprisingly warm. My feet are the first things to get cold and I have yet to find boots that keep them completely warm until now. Not only are they warm, they still feel like a hiking boot and allow you to move around without feeling too clumsy.
"Do it all winter boots" 12/19/10
These boots are extremely warm, completely waterproof and soooooo comfy! Used them in temps down to 10-15 degrees and never had cold feet. Had to cross a couple streams and no water ever got through. The tread is great as well, didn't use microspikes while the rest of the crew couldn't get along with out them. Highly recommend!
"So Far They Are Sweet" 11/07/10
Well I have had them long enough to spend a few days in them and so far I like them. They are very warm and seem to be water proof, though I have yet to put them through any real good tests. If they hold up through the winter I think I will love them. I use them at work where I drive from location to location and do work outdoors. I really like that they aren't so bulky that I can still wear them driving yet still keep my feet warm when I am walking through the snow. Time is the real test, but things are looking good so far.
