Fits Great. Purchased for my son. This is his second North face jacket. He likes the fact that it helps with the wind and that it is not bulky at all. Washes great (when he does the smell test and it needs it). He is 5'10 and a doll. He has that body that girls love (the T) but even with the wider shoulders the waist hangs perfectly. And he says he looks great it in. (LOL no conceit in this family)
Great jacket! I have it for a month and was complimented a few times by my wife and colleages. It keeps me warm in the low 40's yet not bulky. The only drawback is that the underarm is a little tied, but not too bad. It would have been perfect otherwise. I will give it a 4.5 stars out of 5.
"A good jacket, but not an all purpose jacket."

First- I am really happy with it, and it looks great.A few things to be aware of before buying.1. This jacket is not water resistant at all. It's easily soaked, and it takes a long time for it to dry out.2. I would say it is on the larger end of the sizing spectrum. I tried a different North Face Jacket on in a store (which fit perfectly), and then ordered the same size with this, and it ended up being a little bigger than I would have liked.3. The ideal temperature for this jacket is probably 35 or 40 to 55 degrees (F).4. The collar just doesn't stay folded down for some reason..
This is a perfect hybrid fall/winter jacket. It isn't too cumbersome. It is sleek and well insulated. Also I love the detachable hood, in my opinion hoods don't always look that great but this one does. I wouldn't wear it snowboarding because it doesn't have a snow skirt. But for relaxing and going around town.. nothing beats the elevation imho. This beats the heck out of the NF denali in terms of warmth and rain protection.
