Water proof, wind proof, stain proof and almost dirt proof. A damp cloth cleans it like new.Great for moderate to cold temps With layering. Love it.

"Great Jacket" 04/26/13

Just received this jacket and it's perfect for my 6'6" lanky husband. I got him the XL for extra sleeve length and to be able to put an extra layer underneath if needed. This will be a perfect spring/fall jacket for Minnesota!

"Looks good on my husband" 04/25/13

I got this jacket for my husband. It looks very nice on him, and I like how it even looks good when he wears it with his business casual clothes for work. I got the asphalt grey and blue and the color is great. It also seems to protect from the elements pretty well. If I could fix a couple things about it, I would like it to be a little longer. Also, the collar seems pretty stiff on one side and it would be preferable if it folded down better.

"The Most Versatile Jacket I have Ever Owned" 04/25/13

The North Face Apex is by far the best and most versatile jacket I have ever owned. I've had it for 2 years now and it still looks like brand new. I wear it the winter as my winter jacket with only a sweatshirt or base layer underneath and its keep more than warm enough. But I also wear it during the cooler seasons as just a light jacket and it doesn't overheat me at all. It fits perfectly and is a big step up from the North Face fleece jackets because when you wash it it doesn't attract every single piece of lint like the fleece ones do. Best jacket ever.

Money well spent, I looked on several sites for this jacket and Moose has everyone beat. The jacket fits great and looks awesome. I'm 6' 175 lbs, and a medium fit perfect.

"Good Jacket by itself or in Layers" 03/16/13

The fact that this jacket is waterproof and 100% windproof makes it a versitle jacket. Especially since it is thin enough to layer it under a Mountain Guide or Nuptse Jacket. On a 50 degree+ day it is great to wear buy itself. (If you are more tolerant to the cold, 45 degree plus). Large pockets are great for storage. I would recommend it because it is versitle. Great fall jacket as well. Glad I bought it!

"Awesome jacket!" 03/05/13

Ordered this jacket in deep sea blue. It's waterproof, windproof and stylish. You can layer it on top of sweaters to keep warm in cooler temperatures if you don't want to wear a heavy coat. Love this purchase!
