"Punkin heads forget it"  12/21/11

I wear a large fitted baseball cap and this beanie fits snug. I'm sure over time it will stretch. I really like the fleece ear band it keeps them nice and toasty, while looking great too. What else can I say it's North Face get one.

"Amazing Headgear"  12/19/11

This is one of the best beanie's I own. It keeps my hairless head warm in the winter and keeps the wind out of my ears with the stitched in heavy fleece insulation around the entire band going a few inches up (I hate having ear aches from the cold and this hat has become my best firend). I own every color because I'm a dude and thats what we do - If we like it - Yep we'll take it in every color you got.

Wore this hat a good 6 hours yesterday, and did what it was suppose to do! Now if only I had something for my feet, they were frozen in an hour!

This is a very comfortable beanie. I love the fleece lining on the inside. It is great as an everyday beanie to wear during the cold months. Looks good too!

I agree with the reviewer that said it runs big - I bought this for my son as well, and it tends to slide down on his head - warm and well made hat, just be aware of the sizing!

"Great Hat! Really Warm!"  01/13/11

This is a great hat ... It keeps me really warm. I purchased it in the gray/yellow color and I love it! It's the typical North Face high quality material Perfect for those really cold days on the mountain! I would definitely purchase another one of these hats.

"Warm but not Bulky! Love it!"  01/13/11

I purchased this for my son to wear snowboarding/skiing. He's a typical teenage boy who hates to wear coats, but he loves this one! It keeps him super warm without being bulky. He wears it everywhere!

"Great Basic Beanie"  12/30/10

I have this beanie in retro pink. I have an average shaped head, I think lol, but beanies don't always look that great on me. This one fits very comfortably, and I think it looks fantastic. It doesn't make my head look weird or anything. It has a fleece liner around the bottom portion which is nice for keeping the wind out of your ears. However, wind does break through this, and if you are going on an expedition I would recommend something a little more heavy duty, or possibly use with a liner of some sorts. I say go for it!

I have this beanie in retro pink. I have an average shaped head but beanie's don't always look that great on me. I actually think this beanie looks pretty fantastic. Doesn't make my head look like it is a weird shape or anything. It has a fleece liner around the bottom portion which should hit you right around your ears. That is very nice and does a decent job keeping the wind out. The top part of it doesn't block the wind as well though. All in all this is a great beanie and will keep your ears warm, but the wind still blows through it. I say go for it!
