ToastyThere is no doubt you will stay toasty warm in this sleeping bag. I didn't even need to sleep with my socks on! My feet were so warm I needed to use the other side of the zipper just to stick one foot out cause I was a little to warm. I can't wait to get to use this for some winter camping up near lake superior. That will be the real challange

If you need something warmer, you're some place humans shouldn't be.Really lives up to the name "Inferno". Kept me toasty toasty for three weeks in Antarctica. Even at -10-20C with light layers on I needed to open this thing up half-way to keep from sweating. Temperature probably was as low as -35C at times and I stayed plenty warm. Would recommend against this for areas that will not be consistently below freezing. The bag is very well made and has additional down and insulation where heat could leak out, like along the zipper. The hood is also extremely toasty and doubles as a mini-pillow when it's warmer.,,,,Product includes a very good stuff sack. ,,,,Strangely, the North Face logo on the front was of poor durability. It cracked and came off within 3 days of use. Not letting it affect the score, just odd.,,,,If you're debating between the regular and long version, go with the long. I'm 6'2" and was a bit cramped keeping water bottles at the bottom to prevent freezing, which is almost a necessity to prevent them from freezing in those conditions.
