Hiya KellyM, thanks for your question! This jacket does not have a temperature rating. In fact, most jackets do not have temperature ratings. This is for several reasons. Mainly, it's because warmth is a subjective thing, unique to each person. Not only that, but there are other factors that can affect a jacket's warmth: wind, humidity, activity level, what else you are wearing, etc.
That said, the insulation in this jacket is designed to trap hot air for warmth. It is equivalent to a 600 down fill jacket. It really is best for cool-to-cold conditions, not heavy winter conditions, but it might be enough with extra layers and a high level of activity (like playing in the snow). Hope this helps!
