"Great School Bag"  10/05/11

This bag is perfect for going to school with. It will hold everything you need; books, lunch, computer.. It has plenty of storage space which is super nice. Overall great bag!

"School bag"  05/05/11

#1 ('97-'04) - My first Hot Shot had the very basic style. It had the main large section, and one outer section divided into 2 pockets. I've taken that pack on countless hiking/backpacking trips and to several different hiking trips in other countries. This pack is a 5/5 in sentimental value, however the functionality was very limiting.#2 ('05-Present) - So far this pack has been great. I use it on a day to day basis. I take it hiking, use it for work, and use it for traveling on business trips. Overall it serves a good purpose, but the functionality doesn't fit a 5/5 in my book.

"Durable Comfy Clean"  11/28/10

I have had this backpack for over 5 years, i use it everyday to haul books or commute around town. The gel pads on the shoulder straps make the load comfortable. Got a tear and patched it with some nylon tape and hasn't spread. Mos def tough!

"Solid, comfortable daypack"  11/27/10

I bought this as a multipurpose pack for a trip to Korea. It's incredibly comfortable and I dig that I can stash the hip belt when it's not needed. To really feel safe putting expensive gear in it and not hearing something bounce off the floor of a bus, I'd really prefer a padded bottom to go with its padded laptop sleeve. The half-body zipper limits some accessibility to the lower reaches if you've got it packed with stuff, but the four cinch straps keep a full bag tight and manageable. Given the alternatives, I'd still buy this bag again.
