The North Face Girls Khumbu Jacket is a great fleece jacket for spring or fall. I would buy it for girls short or tall. I'm no Dr. Suess but this jacket would get lots of use. North Face fleece is the hard to beat. So start moving your feet. That last line was really a stretch. Some new rhymes is what I should fetch. Please buy the Khumbu. Because I told you to.

"Awesome jacket!" 03/11/13

I bought this for my 15 year old daughter. She's 5"2, weighs 86 pounds, and wears a kids size 14, so we bought an XL in "Razzle Pink". When it got here she was so excited! The jacket would be very flattering, but does not fit her well...we really needed to have gotten the Large! Its rather big on her. Oh well, at least she'll be able to wear it longer! And another thing: the color was totally different than shown. In the picture the jacket was more purple, but when hers got here, it was Hot pink! It is still very beautiful, and keeps her nice and warm. We live in Texas, so it doesn't get very cold, but when it does, this jacket is perfect! My daughter loves it...I would totally recommend!

"I LIve in this jacket. Sleep and live in it." 11/30/12

I am a shorter smaller woman and for practical and economic reasons, I tried the girl's size large. It is perfect. I only take it off to shower. and to have sex. otherwise it is always on me. I have not tried to snap it into other TNF jackets, but I guess it can be done with the zipper and the snaps on the cuffs. I thought the snaps on the cuffs were to attach my mittens...( it IS a kid's jacket after all!).

I have this jacket in two colors and I'm ordering another... absolutely love them! The proportions of the kids jackets are better for my frame (5'2") and the colors are adorable!

"Super cute, super warm and comfy!!" 05/31/12

Ordered this for my 11 year old daughter, she loves the color, she is on the short side and it is a little big for her right now but at these great prices I will hold onto it for the upcoming year. I debated on the khumbu or the denali and seeing they are both the same thickness but read the khumbu is more water resistant and wind resistant decided not to spend the extra money on the denali. Very happy with the khumbu if you want a North Face and don't want to spend a fortune this is a great coat.

"Compliments Galore" 03/04/12

I got this jacket for Christmas a few years back. I absolutely adore it! I find that when I need a semi-lightweight jacket I grab this one. When I need a jacket that will keep me warmer than a windbreaker, I grab this one. I wear mine literally all the time. I have had many compliments on how cute it is and people always ask me what kind of North Face jacket it is. It's super soft and can be easily washed. I would recommend this to anyone!

"This jacket is awsome, Grand child loves it she never wants to take it off." 01/27/12

I got this jacket for our grand child 10th birthday. The fit was just right,she has said it keeps her nice and warm. The zipper works very well never gets hung up. She has asked us if we could get her one next year if this one gets to small. I give the north face girls Khumbu jacket 5+ stars. Ordering with Moosejaw was a great experience.

"Perfect Jacket for stylish 14-year old." 01/06/12

I purchased this jacket for my girlie-girl 14-year old, and she LOVES it! She normally wears a small or medium in junior's sizes, and the XL in this jacket fits her perfect! I purchased it in white and it looks so stylish on her. The jacket is tapered in just the right places to make it extremely flattering. The jacket is warm enough to handle pretty chilly temps, but isn't too bulky. It was one of her favorite Christmas gifts this year!

"Perfect for Cooler Weather" 12/13/11

I have a black North Face denali jacket, but I wanted something a little lighter. This jacket was exactly what I wanted. It isn't warm enough to wear out in the snow, but it is thin enough to fit under a winter coat. It is good to wear when its not below zero out.

"It's Ok" 12/07/11

Bought first Khumbu jacket 2 years ago for my 8 year old. It does the job keeping her warm but the fleece piled up a bit due to repeated washings. My first mistake was purchasing the light blue color-my kid eats clothes for breakfast-therefore I never could get all the kid stains out of it, especially around the cuff area. Overall it performs as expected, she just wouldn't win many modeling contests in the mean time.

"Holy Grail jacket" 12/05/11

OMG love this! I ordered this for myself because I didn't wanna spend the extra money buying a women's jacket. I'm 5'6, 125lbs, and this jacket in an XL actually fits rather nicely. :) The only thing is that the sleeves are a bit short, but hey, for the amount of money I saved by buying this jacket, I'm not complaining!
