"Warm but not very tough" 11/26/11
This bag is warm and can compress to the size of my cat, but after only a couple months of use, it is already ripping at the seems and freying in places. The zipper is awkward too. I have had much cheaper zero degree synthetic mummy bags hold up better. They were not as warm though. This design kept my feet warmer that other synthetic bags I have owned.
"Bulky but warm" 08/08/11
If you are looking for a compact lightweight bag this is not it. It does not pack down that well but with a good compression sac you can get it to a decent size. I used it in Washington state from February to June. It definitely kept me warm during some nights when in got to around 25 degrees. If you are short find a shorter bag. Pretty good bag though for the money.
"bulky but GREAT" 05/14/11
I snowshoed this sucker in for 2 hours to my campsite, and it took half of the room in my pack, but boy, was it worth it! It was a spontaneous buy, and knew nothing about it and was a bit doubtful that something so economical could actually work. But it did! At 10000ft on a snowy mountaintop in February, my only complaint was the wind that didn't leave my tent alone. I stayed nice and cozy in this. What's more - I loved the zippered chest pocket where I stashed my camera so the batteries would stay warm and not die!
"worth every penny" 04/17/11
Its a bit heavy and bulky, but for a 0 degree bag, its nothing!!! At the price you pay, its worth every penny!!!! this thing is stupid warm. With a thick sleeping pad, yo ucan stay super warm, add a warm water bottle or two and yo will never be cold!! Ive only used mine a few times, but at 10000 ft and above in February, March and April a couple times...Cant wait for out next journey. My friends are sick jealous! especially since they spent so much more on equivalent or lesser bags.
"Warm with cool features" 02/19/11
This North Face bag does what it says. Kept my 13 year old son warm at about 5 degrees Fahrenheit in the snow cave. The hood, zipper and double Velcro attachment at the top of the zipper make it very secure. Also has a handy little zip-up pocket we kept small flash light in (for those unexpected little needs to venture out in the dark in the middle of a cold night). Is a bit tight on the feet/knees (but that's why these are called mummy bags right).
"I stayed toasty at 23F." 01/24/11
The bag packs large and doesn't come with a large storage sack like others do. Despite this, I'd still recommend it after having such a fantastic experience with camping at Beaver's Bend Oklahoma in January. With temperatures dipping into the teens at night I stayed toasty warm both nights we were out. Not just comfortable but super cozy enough to have crazy dreams. This bag is rad! I only had the hood and collar slightly cinched to keep drafts down but was perfectly fine. All-in-all, it's a hell of a back for the money.
"Great bag, but packs large." 12/01/10
I actually borrowed this from a friend for a trip and later went to a local retailer to try it out again before ordering it at Moosejaw. Bottom line is that you can't go wrong with North Face, the bag is true to its rating and was super comfortable. The only real issue that would even be considered an issue, is that it packs a little a large. If you are not an ultralight backpacker and don't mind the 5lb bag in your pack then this bag is perfect. Another thing is that I wish it had some loops attached to it so one could secure the bag to a sleeping pad, but it's perfectly fine without, just a preference for some. Awesome bag, don't hesitate!

"Amazing had it for almost a year" 10/15/10
Had this bag for a while, It is great it is warm and reliable. the only complaint is i wish it would of came with a compression sack instead of a stuff sack. I really love the stash pocket on the sleeping bag, it comes in handy!!:)much love,
"Who needs a tent in the summer with this bag???" 09/19/10
Great bag i have spent many summer nights in this alone above 13 and 14,000ft in the rockies, really all you need. Might get tight for someone not in shape. The only thing i was bummed about is it does not come with a compression sac. I have bought 2 and still have not foud one that fits it good. But great bag!!
