"great value bag" 12/26/11
Good pirce on a nice warm synthetic bag. Dont expect the smallest size or the lightest weight bag, check out a down if you want that. If your not a huge fan of mummy bags and want a little extra room this is one to check out.
"If you're looking for a rectangular bag... buy these" 10/13/11
If you're not a fan of mummy bags, then this is a very solid alternative. We just took these out last weekend. Temp dropped just below 40, and I had no problem sleeping in nothing but shorts. Colder temps would probably only need to wear a beanie and be completely comfortable. Also, the bag fits perfectly fine into the provided stuff sack. Just roll it tight and there's nothing to worry about.Highly Recommended!
"Great sleeping bag" 09/02/11
I was looking for a quality synthetic sleeping bag , but at a reasonable price. The Dolomite fit the bill. Just got back from a BWCA trip where the bag worked great. It is well made and was very comfortable. I stuffed it in a water proof compression sack and it fit well in my pack. I'm very happy with the bag and would recommend to others.
"Great Bag!" 07/17/11
At first I started looking at the mummy bags and I actually tried a few in some local stores and actually started feeling a little claustrophobic. I needed some room for my legs to kick around. So I started looking at the basic bags and after a few days of research I found this bag. Still very light and it will easily pack into my North face 65 bag. So really the only little feature I'm missing from the mummy bag is the little eskimo head deal. But, I plan on using my therm a rest pillow anyways so no biggie. Plus know I can swim around in this bad boy and not feel like I can't turn over at night. I'm 5'11 and the long is perfect. The bag covers my head if I slide all the way in. Thumbs up!
"you'll look better sleeping if you're in this bag when you do it" 01/01/11
had to buy a new sleeping bag because my other was lost and this one really did the trick. my lost one was a mummy so I decided to switch it up a little and i was pleasantly surprised. I was super warm (it was about 40 degrees and windy while I was using it) and the bag is of great construction. For such a great bag at such a low price, you really can't get any better!
"Excellent Bag with Brand Name that was important to my 14 year old son!" 12/11/10
This sleeping bag has not only met all my expectations but it was received wonderfully as a gift for my son. My son is a boy scout and camps 3 seasons with it. He has had no problems with being either too hot or too cold. At this price this bag is a bargain! Especially with the North Face Brand name that the teens love!
"Overall Great Bag" 11/28/10
This is a great bag overall. It is narrow in the shoulder area but a lot more room than a mummy bag. I am probably going to get a second one and just put them together. I highly recommend this sleeping bag.
"Narrow shoulders limit usefulness and comfort." 08/10/09
Upon delivery of two, long Dolomite sleeping bags, we discovered that the bags are very narrow. I am a size 46 male and cannot zip the bag and move comfortably inside the sleeping bag with the zipper closed. It is too tight. We also found that the stuff bags were too small. Godzilla would have a tough time stuffing the bags into the sacks that were provided by North Face. Repeated contact with North Face customer support resulted in empty promises to replace the stuff sacks. We finally purchased new stuff sacks. The material quality and finish are excellent but the amenities, design, and customer support are not up to the 'old' North Face standards.
"Great sleeping bag with poor stuff sack and not-so-good customer support." 06/23/09
Purchased two of these sleeping bags recently from Moosejaw. The color is great and the finish is impeccable. I had one major complaint. The stuff sacks provided were evidently the wrong size - three sizes too small. I called North Face and talked to CS reps three times. They were very nice and assured me twice that replacement stuff sacks were "In the mail". After a month of waiting, I gave up and purchased third-party stuff sacks that are larger. A word of caution to anyone with broad shoulders - this bag has a narrow width that is a bit constricting at the shoulders.
"Great Spring Sleeping Bag. A must have for every camper." 04/14/09
I like the sqare bags because their a little more versitile. good for reg use or unzip it and make a nice bed for 2. If its too cold u can fit 2 peeps inside while still zipped up. Iknow, its been done. no fatso's though.LOL
