"Great jacket, great comfy warmth!" 01/03/11
Bought this jacket for my 10 year old, who refuses to wear any "puffy" jackets this year. He loves it because it's super comfy, light-weight yet gives great protection on this cold wintery days. The reversible feature is fun too, gives you two different looks for the price of one and the one-side is water repellent. Very happy with the jacket, ended up ordering another one for my older son!
"Warm and Comfortable" 12/23/10
The jacket is a lot bigger than expected. This is the second time I've ordered a NFJ online and I'm never going to under estimate the sizes for youth or kids because the large is similar to the adult medium; this jacket fits me and I'm a petite. The plus side of the jacket are: it really keeps you warm; good insulation, it's reversible, it repels rain/water for the most part, but you'd want to wear the side that isn't fleece, and it doesn't feel heavy.I would've like to have bought a different color than what my son has because the black on gray as a reversible doesn't make a difference much when reversed.

This jacket is puffy, yet light; it feels like a bubble jacket, but not the kind that weighs your shoudlers down. It's a great buy---the reverse side (no matter which one) looks authentic, especially when wearing the Polartec fleece interior as the exterior. The nylon taffeta fabric is water proof, even people who live in Seattle have nothing on this jacket. There's enough room and movement for the arms. Overall, a great buy, comfortable, keeps you well insulated and light weight.
