The boys Denali Jacket by The North Face is an all-around jacket for cold weather excursions, pick-up ice hockey games on the lake, or just waiting at the bus stop. This straight-forward fleece jacket offers extreme comfort and protection in nature's harsh conditions required in a kid's coat. This classic fleece is made from recycled Polartec 300 series fleece that uses materials that ordinarily would have wound up in landfills. Eliminating this waste wherever possible, this eco-friendly jacket still has the same great look and function; including abrasion-resistant panels on the torso, shoulders, and elbows that withstands loads of use year after year.

i bought this for my 8 yr old son. he LOVES it and wears it all year long. its big enough to wear over a sweatshirt, yet thin enough to wear under a heavier winter jacket. i bought him a size M. he is on the smaller side, so its a little big but PERFECT for layering!

I bought this coat for my son and he wears it everywhere. It is warm enough for chilly weather. It has not had a single problem in a year however it has been worn like an old pair of shoes so it is showing signs of wear. Holds up very well after washing and is true to size. He loves it.

I bought this jacket for my wife and it is the best jacket ever. The price is outstanding for a North Face. I bought her a small and it fits perfectly. I honestly think this is the first thing I have bought her she won't return.

I bought this for my little brother for his birthday because he really wanted one and he loves it. I had to run to the store and borrowed it and never knew how warm it was. It was so comfortable and lightweight, but kept me super warm. I loved it so much that I'm buying my self one and buying my other brother one.

YOU BETTER BUY THIS JACKET! Why?? Because it is the best jacket ever made. This jacket is so awesome because it is made by North Face, it has pockets, and a cool zipper so your jacket can be open or closed. This jacket comes in some of the best colors around, and is made from fleece that is as soft as a baby lamb. Just remeber, you are not cool unless you own this jacket!

"Nice to layer with a shell, not so great on it's own" 		          04/10/09
I always see other people walking around with it when the weathers cold and windy. I thought that it would be a nice jacket to have to keep me warm, but not add too much bulk. Well, the latter is true. It's super light for a fleece jacket. The fit is really good, too. However, I've tried to wear it a couple of times by itself in some pretty windy weather and I was freezing. The wind just finds a way to get through the fleece. Not cool, especially since I was just wearing a t-shirt underneath. If you need a layer to put under a shell, this is a great jacket coz its not bulky at all. Plus, it'll keep you warm. If you want to wear it by itself, I'd suggest wearing a hoodie underneath.

I have purchased two of these bad boys because of the comfort and warmth. It is a GREAT investment. This sweater/jacket keeps your warm and cozy. You can use it as a jacket on a cold day, just wear a long sleeve shirt underneath, as the jacket doesn't do too well with wind. If you choose to use it as a sweater, underneath another jacket, you will probably be sweating- so VERY GOOD for extremely COLD weather!

"Great product, good looking, durable, but zipper is defective" 		          03/27/09
Everthing about the jacket is great, except for the zipper. TERRIBLE! We have already returned it once because it was shipped to us broken. Then, everything was fine until the other day, the zipper pull broke off AGAIN! Wondering if the batch of jackets is bad? Not sure. Wondering if I can get this replaced?
