"Does its job" 05/01/12
Not a bad little bag. Kept me warm which was important. Rolls up and compresses easy. We camped in July and it was fairly humid. The material (as with most sleeping bags) seems to collect the moisture, so it always felt wet. Not sure if there is a solution to that....
"great full size bag" 04/06/12
mummy bags freak me out, i wanted something with more leg room. this bag is great, keeps me warm whether its camping outside in the fall or sleeping on the floor of someone's cabin. room to move around is a plus, and as a bonus there is a little zipper pocket to hold small items (sleeping pills?)
"Great 3 season bag" 11/25/11
I really like this bag. Its very comfortable and keeps you warm on those chilly evenings. I take this camping with me 80% of the time. Only when tempratures dip below 30 degrees I might take my warmer bag. This rolls up to a pretty good size when put in the compression sack it comes with. If over 6 feet tall consider getting the long you will appreciate the little bit of extra space.
"Buy this if you hate mummy bags and love versatility" 09/15/11
This bag does a lot, and it's well constructed. Use it as a roomy sleeping bag if you dig extra space for your feet.. and body in general. Unzip it and use it as a blanket in your hammock. Or spread it out on the ground and make-out with your somebody in the middle of the woods. I've been using this bag since late March, and plan on using it well into October. If the temp falls below 42.499, just throw on some decent socks and you'll be golden. If it's a sticky southern night in July, just keep it unzipped and you'll be golden (prolly still sweaty though).
"Great bag for what its used for" 01/18/11
This bag is perfect for me. It certainly gets the job done. Kept me warm all night long in our cold spell we had down here in Georgia. If sleeping in a mummy bag gets your cramped like me, then this is the bag for you.
"Big and warm for sleepy time, light and compact otherwise." 01/11/11
I used this in Ecuador and the Galapagos recently. It was freaking hot there so the water/sweat resistant nature of the bag was useful. I can't stand mummy bags, so I love this bag, but the spaciousness was also good for the high temps encountered. It made a great blanket on those nights that I managed to find a bed and fits into the stuff sack with lots of room to spare.
"Extremely happy!" 12/15/10
Alright, here's the deal... I moved to Costa Rica about four years ago and used it every day. got a bit hot... but i loved it! The bag is rather roomy. I did alot of backpackin throughout central america and was very pleased with the light weight and how small this little bugger compacted to! Went camping in the Sierra Mountain and got to about 40 degrees at night and only my feet were cold. Buy this thing if you don't live in Antarctica.
"I hate mummy bags." 11/02/10
I hate mummy bags because I cannot move around as much as I would like to while sleeping. I sleep all sorts of ways and the mummy bag makes you sleep huddled up on your back or stomach. I know it is for warmth and it does keep you warm, but this bag is great. Let's you move around as much as you would like without sacrificing all of your warmth while sleeping. If you need and all season bag I would go with the 20 degree bag.
"Sleepy time is good. Oh yes." 04/09/10
Never owned a NF sleeping bag before. This one is a nice summer bag. I like that I can unzip it all around and use it as a big blanket. As a matter of fact I got 2. My kid digs it. Seems durable enough and should last a long long time. MooseJaw got my stuff to me fast... and I mean fast. Way to go Moosejaw... me likey.
