The American Mountain Co Men’s No. 307 Mid-Altitude Softshell Jacket is a softshell jacket for mid-altitude adventures. The No. 307 has been built in the good old US-of-A out of Schoeller® WB-400® softshell fabric. The four-way stretch softshell offers loads of mobility so you can move with ease along the trail, while also getting windproof, water-resistant protection. Finished with NanoSphere® stain resistant durable water repellent, you'll find the jacket repels light rain and snow from soaking into the fabric surface. The Aquazip® zippers throughout the jacket resist moisture and storm flaps close with freeze-resistant snaps to provide additional protection from wind and rain. Large, envelope style pockets secure extra glove liners and small essentials, while remaining pack and harness compatible. Pull on the athletic fit softshell and enjoy unrestricted movement through the windy mountain trail.

Great fit and finishThe 307 is a fantastic jacket - fit and finish are spot on. The Schoeller fabric is great - I've worn this for a year now and it still looks brand new. The ladies seem to love it as well. Only issue I've noticed is the elastic ribbing waist has a bit too much give to wear for anything too technical. Amazing value for an American-made product.

YepAnother solid product from AMC. Sometimes, when you need to be extra stealthy, like when you are at your girlfriend's parents place where all unmarried couples are treated like Victorian maids and suitors, separated at sleep by not only walls, but that lingering feeling that papa has a shotgun loaded to deal with roguish behavior, you need a jacket that can be warm enough and cut wind perfectly in order to survive the balmy 58 degree set thermostat heated halls, but quiet enough to avoid such potential peril of being detected.
That's where this jacket thrives. It is quiet and comfortable. Just be sure to wear undershirt because the cold of the pit Zippers (that would be great feature for climbing or skinning up mountains) against your skin cold invoke a shocking yelp at an inopportune time. That could leave you staring down the barrel of a shotgun, tryin to sell pops on the fact that you were just headed to the bathroom for a midnight growler instead of the aforementioned roguishness that was your true aimed for exploit.
Due to that one slight oversight, 4 out of 5 stars. Great jacket though overall. Glad it was sexy enough to earn my purchase.
