Warmth Outstanding-Have Raynaud'sNOW I have only used these gloves for 3-6 mile speed walks/hikes with my dogs on days down to 25 degrees--don't walk in pouring rain but have been out in misty rain. Rarely snows here in Knoxville,TN. We walk hard enough that I get sweaty hands on second round of a .8 mile hilly section. My hands got severe about 5-6 years ago and these are the first gloves I have found to keep my hands warm! Even when I ran into friends and walked slow/talked - my hands got cold but not to the point that my fingers turned white from the blood draining from them. I do have $350 battery heated gloves-very cumbersome. I have searched for years. These are too bulky for biking, looking for this warmth to be able to bike even in 50s. (Raynaud's=nerve disorder which sends wrong signal to the brain-upon slightest cold your fingers start to turn white with blood withdrawing-there is no medical help-seems they don't think it is any big deal! When fingers are warm, they are red, not normal color for most.)

durango skier from
Best gloves out thereI bought these for my husband, 'cause my son & I think they're the best ski gloves out there. My husband said they're good, but he has still had a bit of cold fingers. Not sure why. But still, they're very well made, have pockets for warmers, and wrist straps, and the leather is very soft & pliable.

Expensive ski gloves, not worth the moneyEvery time I have used these skiing under 30 degrees I have had cold fingers, if not for the heat pack compartment they would be useless. Have had other brands at half the price that were warmer. Huge waste of money.
