I think the replacement strap for my Vector was even better than the original. The watch was 6 years old when the strap finally gave out. I was super excited to find out that Moosejaw sells all of the replacement parts you could need to keep a Suunto watch running for years - new band and the battery replacement kit. This kit even comes with new pins and screws to hold it on- a huge bonus if you've misplaced one of those tiny screws somewhere along the way. Shipping was fast. It came with a bumper sticker and a temporary tatoo. For this reason alone and the awesome customer service, I will continue to purchase products from Moosejaw. As I fell off the side of the sailboat I felt the strap on my Suunto Mariner break... Only it wasn't the strap it was just the metal hasp. I managed to get myself ant the wristwatch back aboard. I discovered that I had to order an entire strap, that's how Suunto supplies it. Moosejaw made that as amusing and painless as possible! My rating is based on the fact that the hasp on the strap doesn't seem strong enough..

What can one really say about a replacement rubber watch strap that hasn't already been said. It is less confining than the average police handcuff at least, I imagine not but it is not as fun as the handcuffs used by Dana the Dominatrix or, so I've heard. I've had the Suunto Vector for 10 years. This is my third wrist band one was chewed up by a pack of wild dogs okay, 2 German shepherd puppies and the other simply wore out I can relate. Hopefully, this one will last at least 6 years, like the last one.

This part shows one of the downsides to buying an expensive watch expensive accessories and replacement parts. This band is a good and expensive, oem replacement part for your expensive Suunto watch. It comes with the pins and nuts that are shown in the picture There is some ambiguity as to whether those are included, from what I read elsewhere.... One thing I don't like about the band is that the band is too wide for the metal part. Which makes it wear against the metal like my old one did. I thought I had one that had a problem because it wore, but this one does it too. Which means that at some point I will likely replace it again with another expensive replacement part.
This Suunto product, a rubber watch strap, has beaten all my expectations. I didn't think that something could hold my Suunto Advizor on my wrist so well. It has brought symmetry back to my life. Well actually with only one watch on at a time I'm not physically symmetrical, but spiritually I couldn't be better after this purchase.
