Rated 5 out of 5 by from I have had this watch for about a week now and absolutely love it! The heart monitoring feature is awesome and is a breeze to figure out. All the features seem really intuitive and with the help of the manual I've had no problems. The watch is extremely comfortable and lighter than I expected. The face of the watch is large, but I have a fairly small wrist and I think it looks great (my fiancé described it as rugged).,,,,As is to be expected, the temperature gauge reads hot when the watch is on your wrist. All the other features seem accurate (I've tested the compass but not the other gauges). I found the black on black watch to be easy to read even in direct sunlight. All-in-all I'm completely stoked about the purchase!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best watch I've owned to date I have had this watch for almost 4 years now. It has been through it all. Around the world, around the country, up mountains, across rivers, you name it. It's the best watch I've ever owned. The face of the watch is huge, so if you have a small wrist it will look massive. The altimeter and compass are very accurate as well. I use the compass all the time while driving to see if I'm heading in the right direction when in an unfamiliar place. About 2 years ago somehow managed to break the bezel off of the watch so I sent it back to suunto and they replaced it for free. An outstanding watch well worth the price. I plan to wear this watch for at least another 4 years.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Highly intuitive interface and providing almost all data you need on mountains Love the interface of this watch. Although there are five major functions: time, altimeter, barometer, compass and heart rate meter. The program organized them together well and the manual is extremely easy to follow. There are only two thing I don't like 1. the font in the manual is too small to read and 2. there are some not-well-explained functions by the manual. For example, the setting for the relative difference of pressure in barometer mode is not very clearly written. I have to get help from other forum. However overall this is an awesome watch!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from this watch does it all.instructions are very simple and laid out step by step for easy set-up Unlike what others have said yhe instructions are very simple and given in a way that most folks can completly set thwirs up in less then 30min. Band is sturdy and seems to be corrected as past vectors have had problems with this. The head could use a more scratch resistant material, but all in all the watch is a great deal for all the information you get in the most extreme places. This watch will be there for you when you need it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is my 2nd time buying it! Awesome! ...and it's not because it broke or stopped working the first. Someone stole it when I had it hanging on my backpack, or it fell I didn't pay attention to that but I just can't see how that could happen. I had the regular vector now I got the HR model. One thing I wish suunto could do now is to make a biking cadence accessory, that would be a dream come true.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Light, easily useable, function well. Very light watch with cool functions including compass, barometer and altitude meter. Also the heart rate monitor is a kind of cool stuff. I can hear my heart beating but now I can even WATCH it. So cool and accurate and now it is my good friend when running.,,

Does this suunto have storm alert?

Asked by: jako
Hey there, Thanks for reaching out to us! Although the Suunto Vector HR Monitor Watch has a weather trend indicator which displays temps between -4F and 140F and can record weather for up to 4-days, it does not have a storm alert.
